Also, what's the deal with warcraftlogs? Why are we not using worldoflogs anymore? I find worldoflogs.com provides a better way to filter through the logs. Anyways, I was just curious.
Glad to cover this one for ya. First might I say, play with Warcraftlogs, you'll find AWESOME tools on it and better details on specifics.
World of Logs sometime mid last year started charged for some new premium services (didn't matter to The guild as we didn't need them so it went largely unnoticed to us.) After a ton of people bought into these deals, the site creators went AWOL and stopped updating and maintaining the site. The biggest reason for the move when we did it was they didn't properly support the heroic fights that PMS and Implication are now on (or comming up on. Click 10 heroic or 25 heroic and you can see there are thousands of parses up for Thok, and Zero for all 3 of the remaining bosses) So I did research and read a ton of forums and found most of the people were migrating to Warcraftlogs.
One last note, we've been using WorldofLogs for a long time. Hell I used them before I was in Downfall when they were still quite new. The change is sharp because Warcraftlogs is a newer site and very VERY well desgined with features we never had in WoL and it's mostly done via JavaScripting. But with new site comes shiny new features like this one! Click that link and hit play in the bottom left corner. If you turn advanced parsing on you can track raid movements as well. Had a night of wipes and convenced a raider isnt moving to the right spot? Check the instant replay and you can find out for sure.
Anyhow, if you have any questions about using WLs ask me, or get me on mumble (you know me I'm available most nights to chit chat) If you need help setting up features on the parses talk to Kaluu or Lumi as they've had the most experience with them so far.
Sounds cool. It's just something I need to get used to. After using worldoflogs for so long I wasn't in the mood to learn something else. We need to get the "Latest Raid Stats" part of the site changed then if we're making the switch.
We should be trying to kill through Thok and maybe even Blackfuse tonight. The more focused we are the more time we should have on Garrosh next Monday. Lets make it happen please.
