I've been thinking a lot about what we should do for tonight and for the future of our raid. As for tonight I think we should still push Galakras as much as possible. Even if we don't have all core raiders I think we should still push as long as we're raiding. When we decide to call it quits with this raid then I think old content could be an option. This way it doesn't force some people to do something they don't want to do.
Cow will be grading the final papers of the Spring 2014 quarter, starting from 11:00 am to who knows how long. Moo will try to make it, but Professor wants all grades in before Tuesday.
I would be down to revisiting some old content! But with my new work schedule I don't get home to after six most nights but I would love to join in if ya need rdps.
In light of our discussion last night about how long we're going to continue raiding and the consensus being that most of us are really just sticking around for love of raiding together, I thought I might suggest hitting up an old raid on this night, because we already know that our roster will be more upside-down than usual.
I know I sound like a broken record, but I *really* want to hit up heroic ToT and clear it, and it would be nice to get into another dungeon for a change of pace so we don't burn ourselves out too hard on progression. There are a few mounts worth going back there for (we could do the glory achievement pretty easily) and I'm a firm believer that ToT had some of the best looking armor and weapons, at least for some classes, in this expac. I'm big on transmog and would love to have the heroic monk armor in my collection.
Anyway, this is just a suggestion. I'll be online and ready for anything, just thought I'd toss the idea out there.
This is a fantastic idea, When I did the "Elapsed Steals" raids we went back in mostly flex/normal SoO gear and just rolled face through most of the fights. However there is some strat that still needs to happen with Dark Animus, And Lei Shen. But Ra-Den is almost a roll face as long as you have someone calling out a cycle of people.
If you decide to do this and want some strats, let me know and I'll hook ya up
I'm up for what ever
