I'm going to be hosting a raid on Nok-Karosh tomorrow (November 18th). Basically, he's a big badass wolf that drops a unique mount. The drop chance is 100%. A single mount drops per kill. The respawn rate is about ten minutes. And the mount is bind on use so there is some potential gold to be made for people who aren't super into mount collecting.
This wolf is super hardcore, though, so I need to bring an army.
I want this to function more or less like a standard raid night. We gather up at 6PM west coast time. We form a raid group of about 18-20 people. We farm the wolf until everyone has a mount.
This means roughly a three hour raid, as per our standard. For the sake of simplicity, I will be distributing the mount straight down the raid roster after each kill. This means that each player will be given ONE mount and we won't be rolling on them so there is no room for someone learning one and then trying to win another. One per customer. I say this so everyone knows precisely what they're getting into you.
*Show up, expect to fight for the whole duration of the raid. We can hang out and have fun in Mumble but we are here to win and get mounts for everybody. That means not bailing after you get yours.
*If I can't fill the raid with Downfall members, I will be using the new Group Finder tool to fill the remaining slots. Even if nobody else signs up whatsoever I WILL be running this tomorrow. If you want to come with me, sign up and get a spot.
*I would very much like to get a Warlock out there slightly early so we can get folks summoned and ready to pull as soon as possible.
