This seems to be bringing back some names of long past, So I'm going to give you all a list of things that will help on our trip down memory lane.
1) Mumble - We're using this instead of vent, when you get in game bring up the guild window and go to the far right tab. Hit Guild Info and you'll see the mumble info listed there. Read each box when setting up the server carefully. Often people put the password into the user name box and that will keep you from being able to login. When you first connect you will be prompted for a password.
2) DeadlyBossMods - Yes it's still around, and yes we still use it. "But Elapsed, it's just ICC aren't we going to mostly just steamroll everything?" Yes, and if this was a let's just kill all heroics run, I'd fully agree you don't need timers. But since were getting odd achievements, this will help. BE SURE TO GET THE WOTLK MODS TOO
3) ELVUI - If you don't have time for a personal UI like you're used to, and/or just want a great UI that works and is super easy to setup. Grab this, I can say that when we were raiding a large portion of people used this for their main UI and only had to add things like Recount/Skada and DBM. It's clean, it has tons of info available. Side note, The stock raid frames are solid as shit now. If you don't want the hassle of a UI at all, go ahead and skip ElvUI but make sure to still get the DBM stuff.
And that's about all. If you need help with any of this stuff, don't hesitate to ask me.
The good news is, if all 25 people (were the raid to fill) needed that step, then all 25 could get it easily. In fact we have to stall DPS to after the air phase to ensure she gets off 4 breaths
I still can't guarantee I'll be there. I'm now remembering the sheer amount of crap I'll have to install to attend, simply to knock out a quest I'll never finish ...
