I should be able to make it tonight, but I am driving back to denver in a car that might break down so if im not on then i am stuck on the side of the road
I think there is slight confusion of the knockback. I understand in phase 2 the wave knocks you back as well as big add explosion. It is very important to run through the wave to take the least amount of damage. It is also important to know what your back is too so the big add explosion doesn't knock you back into a mine.
One thing I noticed is when we run to the middle for the transition, there are mines up with 1 big add in the middle. We really need to be on the boss spawning side of the inner circle. Three to four attempts in a row we had 1 person, including myself, get knockedback into a mine as the add exploded as we gathered to the center.
During phase three when we circle around the middle, Elapsed continues to call run through the wave. I don't believe this knockbacks, and I don't believe running through it makes you take less damage, but I might be wrong. Some classes need to stand still as long as possible to optimize dps and I am wondering if this is a case I can stand still in. Thanks.
Only in Phase 2 the Nova knocks back, it's the only phase I mention it. In all other phases, they don't knock back. In all phases, running into it reduces damage, as the sort of a moving puddle. The longer you're in the spell effect, the more ticks you'd take.
For maximal dps and avoidance, it's when you want Aspect of the Fox, Stampeding Roar, Spiritwalker's Grace, etc.
Yes, for transition, people cannot forget there's still a knockback and mines are still active.
