Putting together a one time raid for this week. I want to just have some fun with friends and get some gear for some people. It'll be a good time. Lets do this!

You get a set of ilvl 483

You get a set of ilvl 483 gear and it ports you to Timeless Isle instantly for you to pick up all the epics just lying on the ground.

Dunno if that's raidable though.

You 'qualify' for T14 and T15 LFRs with the gear from a boosted 90. Although the T14 raids will give you a lower ilvl than your boosted gear, so you should shoot for T15 LFR. You need ilvl 496 to do current T16 LFR mode.

While the gear has the ilvl to do T15 LFR, its not always properly stat'd like you would want for raiding, nor is any of it socketed gear, so doing reforging to get your min hit/exp will drop your other stats considerably. But like Saedo said, if you go to the Timeless Isle, and farm some of the lower HP mobs and do the quests, you can get some ilvl 496 random stat gear fairly easily and it helps a bit. There is also the August Celestial world bosses. They randomly drop ilvl 553 T16 pants/gloves, or ilvl 550 PvP gear (which is better than nothing), so those are another way you can get some gear. Probably the best casual way to work yourself to be raid "capable" is...

Timeless isle+August Celestial world bosses & T15 (Throne of Thunder) LFR -> T16 (Siege of Orgrimmar) LFR ->T16 normal+

Either that or get carried through SoO Flex or normal mode. Your dps/healing/tanking from boosted gear wont be able to play a viable role until you get fully T16 LFR geared or better honestly.

The purpose of this raid was just to raid in general, isn't it? Progression is next week? Moo?

May be we can invite some outsiders to come, to see if they want to be regulars for the normal raid. The server's been filled up since AM was added to our connected realm.

So I just got off the phone with Grasen and we talked about the lockout and I TOTALLY forgot about the AC's raid on Monday. What we'll do is just go as far as we can on Wednesday and AC will clean it up on Monday. If that's cool with everyone. Post and let me know your thoughts guys. If that's no good I may just run flex.
