Was really looking forward to playing tonight but logged on this morning and all my toons have been hacked. Daisey is now truly a wimpy warlock until she gets her gear back.
This has happened to both Craeg and Puregenius in the last couple weeks, both times I've gotten their gear back in a very short period. First make sure to change your password and secure your computer. And please make it a difficult password with a symbol a capitol and a number in it. now that you achieved this login and open a ticket to a GM stating your account was hacked and you need a recovery of your items. Next you have to fill out a battle.net form located here
this should have your gear back within 2 hours or so if they do just as quick of a job as they did for the other two guys (puregenius was hacked today, I started the recovery process at 1 and his gear was recovered at 3)
Thanks for info. I hae done the Account recovery at battle net piece I just need to log on when I get home and then I can hit the ? and report the hack there.
I will be out for the raid tonight, I'm busy moving. So it might take me out of the raid Tuesday as well, I'll post if that is the case. Good luck tonight.
I honestly dont know if I will be able to be on. My dad just had a heart attack....id would have rathered tell somebody in game....than posting something like this on here....but nobody was on.
Meow and I are going to be adventuring in the New England autumnland, and are going to miss the four raids from today till next Monday. We'll both return Tuesday next week.
Good luck killing anything without us!!! Mwa ha ha ha
