Here's the gist of the changes we'll see, besides the whole more hp more damage stuff:
Marrowgar:
He casts a set of Bone Spikes during Bone Storm, so have to deal with that
Deathwhisper:
Add waves will come in faster
She is NOT tauntable in P2, will have to do tank switches like Gurtogg (stay below both tanks)
It appears a single add from the back will continue to spawn, dps go kill (serves as threat drop too).
Mind Control will occur, only 1
Vengeful Shades have 20 yard explosion
Gunship:
Getting hit by those rockets will knock you back
Saurfang
BP generation is up by 15%
The adds will have a slowing aura to everyone within 7 yards. So kiting has to be more better at kiting. They also do enough damage to 1 shot tanks, so can't pull aoe pull aggro on them...
Mark death heals for 20%
Festergut
Putricide joins the fight and throws Malleable Goo at the raid. Same Malleable Goo in his fight, chucks slime, explodes, slows you. Can no longer have ranged stacked up on melee. More spreading out so more areas he can target. Tanks and healers try not to get hit either.
Rotface
Putricide joins and does Vile Gas to ranged people only. So can't have everyone stacking anymore. Keep at least 2 ranged and the kiter out.
Infection does more damage, and is a 75% healing reduction debuff
Ooze Flood is a stacking 10% slow (and damage), stacks to 10
Putricide
Both oozes will spawn at the same time, during phase changes, no stun, you have 35 seconds before he's active again
Stacking DoT that you have to pass around, disease (+250% damage taken) you have to pass around
Ooze and Gas Variables debuffs appear, they want you doing damage to what matches you (Ooze to Ooze, Gas to Gas)
Blood Princes
Every time you move, you get a stacking debuff that does shadow damage. So like opposite of Hodir's debuff.
Blood Queen
Aura increases in damage as more Vamps are out
Valithria Dreamwalker
New constant shadow aura ticking throughout the fight, hurting her too
Adds spawn faster
Sindragosa
Ice Beacons in P1
The backlash from Instability is a 20 yard aoe, not just to yourself
Lich King
Shadow Traps, black things on ground that knockback explodes if you stand in them (right off the platform to your death)
Will add more as I find more. Or if you guys find anything new.
In her heroic version, Lana'thel sports 5 million more health than her normal counterpart, which puts her at around 19 million. Her enrage timer on the other hand does not change, so the DPS requirement of this fight greatly increases. We used a setup of 2 tanks, 3 healers and 5 DPS. You probably can't get away with less than 3 healers on this, I would not recommend trying.
Very little else changes for the majority of the raid group, though. Vampiric Bite inflicts slightly more damage when used and Delirious Slash now inflicts 75% of weapon damage and causes a 7000 damage dot instead of a 5000 damage dot on the tank.
The main change to this encounter is Presence of the Darkfallen. This is a stacking buff Lana'thel gains everytime a raid member gets turned into a vampyr. For each Vampyr present, her Shroud of Sorrow - that's the raid-wide pulse damage you take every 2 seconds - will inflict 5% more damage. In other words, the more the encounter progresses, the more damage the raid takes

Ah then the earlier datamined
saedo — Fri, 02/19/2010 - 17:35Ah then the earlier datamined info comes into play. So mechanically nothing different. Just more damage all around and need more dps to kill it.
