Heroic Highmaul run.

Going to do loot a lil differently this week. Instead of mains over alts it will be raiders over everything. So if you are a member or Galaga, JAMM, or F-RNG you will get loot priority for your raiding toon main spec. Everyone lse will / roll for whats not needed by raiders. alts and mains will be even for non raiders or offspec.

What is the point of these loot rules? Why would you even bring an alt if priority goes to main raiders? And why would main raiders still need heroic gear from an instance we have been clearing for a long time?

Loot council makes sense in a main raid. And is based on attendance, skill, and current gear. This is an alt raid, which means you take your chances on loot with a /roll. It's the same as if you use the LFG system. The benefit from running an alt raid with a guild is you usually have more skilled people then a LFG system. Additionally you can supplement a run with main raiders that have gear, and just want to help alt runs out, which frequently occurs. If you want to run it like a loot council, then it should be put together by the main raid you go with.

You missed my point bro. My post was aimed at giving a reason why some raiders from main raids may still need pieces of loot from heroic Highmaul due to Loot Council, not that I was proposing to establish a Loot Council for this particular raid.

I think you actually missed HIS point, Bro. His point, as I read it, is that this raid has now, with the updated loot rules, functionally been changed TO a Loot Council. Albeit one without a clear council or set of operating principles.

i know of a few raiders who could use stuff from heroic hm. Mainly Denull since he is joining us. there's 3 upgrades for me in there still. i know of an f-rng raider chasing 1 item. pretty sure a few from gallaga as well.

Just because people who are in a main raid need gear, does not justify them getting priority in an alt raid. There are 3 main raids in this guild, which means priority for a lot of people.

I hope everyone who knows me knows that I am glad to pass to a main raider... or someone who is considering becoming a main raider... but I'll be damned if you think you can break the number one rule of mAlt... and still call it mALT. mALT was a raider that I helped create and the #1 reason was so we can gear up our alts without having to pass loot to a main... hence the lower case "m" upper case "ALT". No loot drama - just rolls.
Go find your own raid name!!

I forgave that Lepp's alt is not remembered as a contributor to the naming and getting the first mALT raids going but I will boycott the *bad word* out you if you apply this loot rule and still call it mALT.

I look forward to the new name of this raid and passing on whatever a raider needs.
