Before WoD I wanted to bring the PVP element of Downfall back via a Friday night Ashran group. Ashran didn't do well in the WoD beta and has been made consistently worse since it went live. Basically it's a terrible PVP zone and doesn't do what I wanted it to do for our guild.

 

But that's okay.

Just because the PVP zone is a disaster doesn't mean that we can't PVP. It just means we need to find the Horde. But the Horde aren't in Ashran. They're above it. In Warspear.

So I propose we form a big angry mob and attack Warspear to start a fight. Why? Because screw the Horde. Plus we can get some honor kills and progress towards Nemesis quests for people and just have a good old time as a community ripping through enemies and laughing about it in Mumble.

So what's the plan?

We're going to get as many Downfallers together as want to come and then fill out the rest of the group via the crossrealm LFG tool (meaning this WILL happen no matter how many of us choose to show -- it also means show up on time if you want a spot). Then we're going to use Path of Frost to run through the ocean to go behind Warspear and all of a sudden burst onto the scene together into their Auction House (which is marked with an X). Once the bulk of Horde and NPC guards there are dead we will move along the path above to the O mark, which is their flight path. That will cut off their ability to reinforce themselves and give us a hilarious choke point to orchestrate further murder from.

Then we kill people. When they rez, kill them. If they run, kill them. If they form a big group to come attack us, kill them. If they make a level 1 Alliance toon to call your mean things, then report them for harassment and keep killing them.

Sign up. Be there. Be social and have fun. Just like the original intention of the Friday night Ashran group.
