While I would love to continue pushing new hard-modes, I think it might be more beneficial to get down the H stuff we know we can get down, and hopefully get some items that can, in turn, make entry into Firelands just a tad bit easier. Especially if we are truly this close to Firelands.
I think skipping BoT is a good idea, there probably isnt too much more from the Hard-modes that people would need, same with normal council/cho'gall.
Weve only had I thnk 4 kills on H Mag, so Im certain theres still items that people need.
You guys have been killing H Chi and H Mal since before I joined. I would really like to still get H Mal as there are a few items off him I would like to snag. But H Chi just seems to eat up most of our time if we get bad RNG, just do him on normal to get it over with?
H Atramedes is laughable, I think we'd be fine to do this since we just started him and 1-shot him this last week.
I honestly dont think were going to get a H Nef kill after such a small amount of time of attempts on him. But crazier things have happened. H Omni I would like to try out, I dont think it will be too bad as long
as we get a little luck on our side and we are very aware of which tron
that Nef buffs and WHEN he does it.

It's basically a call to skip BoT. Kill H Mag. Work on H Omni the rest of the night, or until it looks hopeless.
Next day, maybe a few more shots on H Omni, but do kill H Chim, H Atra, H Maloriak this day.
Then rest of the week on H Nef.
Should still give us plenty of loot for the week and still see new hard modes. Only H Halfus and H Double Ds possibly missed.
And honestly, I don't think 1 week of RNG loot would help us much in Firelands. The greatest help would be from learning skills from Heroic mechanics. Whether we got enough time to actually get a new kill, who knows. But experience even through wiping might help.

Elapsed — Sat, 06/11/2011 - 07:19I agree that I don't see us getting heroic nef this patch, however I really want to see and attempt Omni, were geared (over geared at the rate blizz is changing the encounters) Firelands as is. Theres gear on a few of the heroic fights that would be damned sexy to get before hand, but not really needed (except to gear up Feld more). so let's enjoy our last 1-2 lockouts, have some fun doing it, and get ready for the pain that will be firelands.

That means, skip BoT. And give H Omnitron a few shots. See how it goes, then work on H Nef. I'm thinking...
Maybe a H Halfus + Double Ds at the tail end of a night if things look hopeless or time contraints.
