So I think the general concensus is...

2 DPS on the legs.

2 strong ranged aoe dps on the adds.

2 floater dps that switch helping with adds then switch to legs

I think that should work. We were doin pretty good on turning him that we should be fine and if we REALLY need it we can just call out for help. Plus with Deje on the adds instead of on the legs full-time it should bring the adds down faster so we can get even more help on legs if needed. Just really need to pay attention to the fire lines on the ground.

I went back into Firelands today to check out the trash after Shannox went down. We really should do him first, it takes out soo much trash. The only trash left in there is around the outer rim of the middle area, so there are a few turtles, some surgers (non-patting kind) and fire elementals that were buggy with their ignites. There are also 2 of the 5-6 mob packs left in front of Baleroc, the other large packs are gone as well.

Baleroc IS available to fight, we dont have to kill the 'first 4' to get to him. There is like... 4 trash pulls to him from where were at right now.

Well... Shannox seemed to spawn faster the other night, but we did kill Beth'tilac trash along the way, so maybe it counts? But either way, since we got the kill now, we should be able to repeat so order doesn't matter. If the other boss trash does count, it may still be more efficient to make Shannox the 2nd boss of each night.

Were you actually able to pull and attack Baleroc? Or is he just standing there looking pretty before he retreats further in? Either way, still probably try Alysrazor next and see how it goes.

Also, while on Deje. Is there anything we can do / craft that can speed along his gear? Higher dps from either Deje or Voug (w/ Deje healing) would be nice.

Yes, I was able to pull Baleroc. I was in DPS gear (like an idiot) and he hit me for over 120k and put an end to me real quick.

I thought maybe if some of the bosses were up then he gained a buff from them, so I pulled him twice to be sure, and I didnt see any extra buffs or anything on him. Hes just sitting there out in the open.

He has 2 molten giants and 4 large fire elemental dudes in the room with him, and thats after the 2 packs of 5-6 mobs (only need to pull one of those packs tho).

As for Deje... maybe prioritize loots for him starting out will help? If something drops that he and voug can use (minus Tier), let Deje have it just to start out with to get him caught up? Maybe have Voug sit down with Deje before/after raid and work on rotations, spell prioritization to make sure its all correct?

Just some ideas.

Maybe just Shannox has to die. It would be annoying having him pat all over the zone as you clear towards Baleroc.

Well, going forward, Deje and Voug shouldn't share gear at all. Deje doesn't have competition in caster mail gear. Voug would be after Feld's gear. The thing we can prioritize I guess is the rings/neck/trinkets/weapons/etc, but that's a lot of caster/healers to pass over too.

Unless, we just can't afford to go down that path until we get lucky with a lot of drops....

Heroic Halfus... Hmm, I wonder if it's worth a side trip one of these nights. But loot is so random.

Anyways, was hoping there's something to craft. Maybe a BoE to watch the AH for. A heroic 5 man to farm.

I went over with a friend over Deje's gear. We mostly determinded that #1 he probablly doesn't use jar as a dps trinket, #2 needs a better helm (go back and do heroic/normal Halfus and/or clear to Cho'gall for a tier helm), or has to wait for gear to drop in Firelands over time,
