Looks like we're going to have to push option 4, or even push Option 6: Delay raiding untill tommorrow, pending if we want to extend the lockout for an hour, or 3.
I went over our parses with Saedo over the weekend, and compared them to alt raid. I also went over our raid gear, and compared them to their gear. This isn't intended to be a calling out, but more of stating facts about our raid.
#1. We honestly don't need more 378 gear, except for Knoppix and Aurleas (whichever is in raid). Everyone else are missing helms, shoulders, rings, and/or trinkets. Yes, our gear drop rate sucks, but that can't be helped. Justice League members are mostly in 378 gear with 378 non-tier helms.
#2. Since Justice League doesn't have the same raid makeup as us, we can't do exact raid comparisons, except for Latra (Shakos' hunter alt) and Feldield. Fel, is there something wrong with your rotation? You're barely geared better than Shakos, but he's doing about 2-3k more dps. I just ran a comparison on wow-heroes, and I think we might have found the problem. Fel, you have the old tanking leg enchants on, and you need to reforge all the mastery (and some crit perhaps) to haste. Latra has about 860 more haste than you do.
#3. Our raid makeup is terrible. If we have Aurleas on his druid in raid, Feldield and Saedo's bleed damage goes up. If we have Knoppix in raid. we gain 5% spell haste if Voug isn't in raid with his totem. I talked to Knoppix, and this question goes out to Foresight and Plumsauce: Could either of you go fire(imp scorch) if we get Fel to swtich to a Dragonhawk(Curse of elements/8% spell damage taken)? Doing this however might cause the whole raid to loose 5% crit.
Mangle is one of the smallest dps buff/debuff increases for me. About 200 dps.
5% crit I'd think is probably more worth it than 8% spell damage. The crit is about a 1200 dps buff, while the spell damage does give a 400 dps buff, leaving the difference of a 800 dps drop if it's traded. Feld probably might have a similar drop as his spell damage might be less than mine's. Dunno if the mages + extra would make up the difference.
I could go Mutilate... We'd lose a 4% physical damage debuff. I'd drop about 700dps, but we'd gain the 8% spell damage. That might be worth it for the mages. But dps could drop way further in due to running around find the spot to backstab on Rag. Looking at a Bill's mutilate parse on Rag, it certainty didn't look pretty compared to a combat one.
I SHOULD be available all of this week, excluding next monday. Im working dayshift for that exercise again. Mon-wed should be for sure, thu/fri are iffy.
Also, had a nasty storm roll through Tucson/base last night so all of the power in base housing is out. No a/c,fridge, nothing... imagine my pain when it hits 110 today... fml. I don't even know if my comp is fried yet or anything. It was all on surge protectors so I should be good. But I wont know 100%for sure until I get power back.
Its looking like Ill only be able to make Mon & Tues. While this exercise is bigger than the last one, they are doing everything on much tighter time constraints. They have it planned to end tomorrow for now.

So it's really more of a who you want healing, and that's assuming the bear tank is geared enough to tank a Rag.
Should Aurleas not make it for raid, well then, LF healer/tank fill in.
