Was doing a little looking around and it seems like there is no preferred strat to how to deal with the adds for P1, most people Ive watched seem to do the whole quadrant or just run around in a fucking gaggle method. But to me this video seemed to be quite a bit 'cleaner' than how we were doing it with quadrants etc. Plus it allowed for a little melee splash dmg on the drake when it was down.
It seems like they mostly tried to single-soak the small blasts until big adds were down or if the splash was next to a tank. It also seemed like this gave a good amount of spread room between players and distance from the adds for the charge. Which could help us with people actually MOVING OUT OF CHARGE! One of the last attempts I saw Feld eat every single charge put on him. you have a quick sec to sidestep quickly to avoid the damage, do it! Perhaps the extra distance may help. Plus when charge goes out, TANKS DONT CHASE, let them just come back there should be minimal moving by tanks and melee except to absorb the big blast. If they charge, turn around and beat the drake if its there.
Blackhorn himself we should be fine, we just need to be sure to put blackhorn away from ranged, some of our positioning was bad while you guys were dealing with the drake. Then its just a matter of healing, tank taunts etc. Better comminication with tanks. On one attempt I still had like 13-14 seconds on my 2nd devestate debuff, and kaka just got his 2nd stack (stupid RNG bs...) so if that happens we need to blow CDs or get a cd from someone. 2 debuffs is rough, 3 absolutely blows. Plus remember, for every 1% of his health gone his vengeance stacks and does 1% increased dmg. hard hard burn.
