In phase 1, you also get a debuff everytime you get hit by a shadowbolt/void bolt whatever you want to call it.  It increases shadow damage by 50% and lasts for 15 seconds.  Two people need to be in every shadowbolt to survive. Pretty much if you dont kill both dragons in one pass, it is a wipe because you will be taking too much bolt damage.  If you get more than 2 stacks and 9 people are not in the onslaughts with 2 stacks and a raid cooldown, you will die.  We downed this last week... id say this fight is still extremly difficult.  Id probably say difficulty wise it is Morchok >> Ultraxion >> Yorsahj and then zonozz and hagara are about the same... with warmaster being much more difficult.

Also if you have a firemage, you can take an onslaught by yourself everytime cauterize is up to give the dps more uptime on the drakes, i usually take the third one by myself.

Agree with what Drezi said.

Agree with what Drezi said. (Although I'd say that Zon'ozz is easier than Hagara just due to the RNG factor being less predictable.)

Don't give the debuff much credit on warmaster. It is easier to kill everything, but it's still a push. I would say that it will be very difficult to kill with 3 healers...unless you're very ranged heavy (and specifically ranged with multidotting capabilities) 3 healing it might be impossible.

Drezi's firemage cauterize trick works with a spriest too via dispersion. Just make very sure that you call out who's jumping in the onslaught...if there's one other person with Drezi, they die every time.

Fire spawns every 25% of ship health gone. So...you can avoid fire by keeping the ship above those points.

In my opinion, the most essential part of the fight is being able to make quick personal decisions about when to jump in a barrage or not. As a lock, with my soul link, I can live through a solo barrage hit with 0 stacks...with anything more than that, i'm toast. With 1 stack you need 2 other people to soak a barrage with you...and if there's an onslaught while you have 2 stacks, you basically need some kind of CD (PW:S, Pain Suppression, etc) to survive...and you'll only do that if you're topped off going into onslaught. So, being quick on your feet about whether to get in or not is essential. If there's a charge headed at a barrage...get out. If you have 1 stack and are alone, get out. IF you see a person running away and you have 1 stack get out. If you see 2 people running in and you have 1 stack get in...unless of course there's a charge...then get out. That's not even all the rules...as you can see, it's pretty complex.

In the second phase when the dragon is down, druid hots work, but so does general aoe healing. if everyone is stacked (as you probably should be) you can just aoe heal the debuff off (and every tick of aoe healing done on the debuffed target automatically is counteracted by the tick of aoe healing done).

Pre-pull set a phase 2 stack point for after the drake comes down. while the drake is in the air...avoid that stack point so you don't drop a void zone on it...then when the drake drops, converge on your stack point, which should be close enough to warmaster so that you can all easily strafe out of the shockwave when it comes.

All in all, this fight is brutal. It's less RNG dependent than Hagara, but it's still way hard.

First thing, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4sURUQa59M

Pretty much the fight is about... 80-85% just like normal.

The only change for Phase 1, is Firefighter 2.0.  Anytime the ship takes damage, fire patches will spawn on the ship and spread a little.  Gnomes will fly around spraying water onto the fire to extinguish it.  THIS IS BUGGY.  The fire animation stays way too long.  As soon as you see a water cannon hitting the fire, you can stand on the fire and it wont do damage.  Its something blizzard hasnt fixed yet.  So oddly enough... once you see water hitting it.. you can stand in the fire.

Of course damage overall is higher, so we have to ensure that as many of us as possible get in the onslaughts.  They recommend all 10 in the vid, but that was before nerf, so im sure that 8-9 should be ok, but we should still strive to make sure we all get in anyways, will just make things easier on healers.

Phase 2 - starts out the same. Once the Dragon hits 80% health, it will land.  Tanks need to tank both Warmaster and Dragon.  Will be tanked towards front of the boat, facely slightly opposite directions (see vid).  Will tank swap them once tanks get 2 stacks of sunder.

Once on the ground, the dragon will no longer put the void circles on the ground.  BUT will instead put a debuff on a random person.  The person with that debuff will absorb all healing put towards them up to ~200k.  You cannot spam heal the person up to take off the debuff.  For each heal that person receives, EVERYONE in the raid recieves that amount as damage.  Example - you heal player for 15k, everyone else takes 15k each.  Best way to counteract this, is druids (finally a Heroic fight that prefers druid healers).  Druids mad HoTs on everyone and the player so it should hopefully balance out as much as possible.

As they discuss in the video, you cannot burn down the boss and ignore the dragon, if the boss reaches 80% health, he will drain health from the dragon, but will cause a bug which will still cause him to gain high vengence while having high health, causing tank death.  So, kill dragon like normal.

Watch positioning on their vid during P2.  They have "2" ranged groups.  1 group is just one person on opposite side of the boat, while all other ranged are grouped up.  This way if that one person gets targetted by shockwave, only he has to move, instead of everyone.  We could do something similar, maybe 2 people on one side, the rest on the other.  Try to minimize how far you are from the boss so you have less room to run out of the shockwave animation.  But also far enough away so you dont get hit by his aoe shout that interrupts casting.

Its supposed to be a somewhat high DPS requirement.  Its been said that if you meet the DPS requirement for Ultraxion, you can defeat this.  And that was with 2 tank 2 healer setup.  I think with the debuff we'll be fine with 3 heals.
