I maintain that if the problem is DS now is the time to redouble our efforts on the other Cata content. I can't physically lead a raid. But I can amass raiders. I think we should try to gather up interested parties to do BoT, Four Winds, BWD, maybe Firelands. I guess doing so doesn't actually depend on Mehguy in specific; but I know it's something he showed at least some interest in doing.
I feel like it would only take so much trial and error to get T10 down.
It just falls down to who wants to take a stab at Glory of the Cataclysm Raider or finishing off H Rag in the near future.
Or getting the corrupted phoenix that you got w/o us...
I'm fine with going back through some old content for fun to get some achievs. Just get raiders or w/e and set up a time and I should be ok to make it. I just can't really look at DS anymore, nor sit around while someone decides they don't want to show and we wait 1 hr+ for a replacement for the night.
The point of me being "done" is to give me more time between progression raiding so I dont go into MoP still burnt on DS and not wanting to put forth a lot of effort in MoP. I really want to hit MoP raiding hard (when we start) and right now I dont think I can do that while still smashing my face in DS. Ive definitely enjoyed raiding with PMS, but I just cant stand to keep going through this "content" that they decided to stick us with for this long of a time. At least with ICC there was Ruby Sanctum to give people a break. PLUS ICC was fun as hell... DS was not fun after about 4 months.
If you are looking to do T10 and T11 stuff I can almost guarantee you are looking for at least 2 people to replace. Won't throw names out there, but I'm fairly certain you can be sure to look for at least 2 fill-ins.
So the question becomes: Are you letting your account freeze or not? I ask because I could just use the standard PMS raid time and organize around that in the future since the slot won't be needed for anything. It's very easy to grab a healer or DPS or whatever out of OpenRaid and drag them into Firelands or Tier 10. It would probably take maybe 5-10 minutes to find suitable people to fill empty slots.
I'll set something up next week if people want to do this. I'm going to a convention this coming weekend so next week seems the ideal starting point for anyone interested.
