it was brought up that Heart of Fear is coming up this week, and we should attempt it. After discussing with Elapsed some routes we could take regarding it. I researched the first 2 fights in HoF, and I think we should be able to get the first boss down, its a fairly simple fight, some interesting mechanics etc. It'll just be a matter of getting the hang of it, as the last phase begins at 40 percent and its a hard burn to the end. Nothing really "changes", its just handling all the platform abilities at once and trying to get out of that situation as fast as possible.
The 2nd boss, I think could be a lot of fun. But I'm still a little concerned. Just remember, that blizzard geared HoF and Terrace of Endless Spings for people who have MSV gear. I'm definitely not saying we can't do it, but I think clearing it is out of the question ATM. People are adequately geared for where we're at, but I think if we want to consider HoF a serious option, then we need to continue through MSV primarily for the next few weeks.
What I am suggesting, is that for the first hour of raid on Tuesday, go into HoF, check out the first boss.. if it goes well and we can get it down (which I think we could), then we can see how we feel about it, and MAYBE attempt the 2nd boss. I don't think we should waste a lot of time in there, when our primary focus should be on MSV. So lets tinker in HoF for an hour, see how it goes, and then boogie on over to MSV and keep going the route we should.
After a few weeks of some progress in MSV, and the first boss (or 2) of HoF, maybe we can work out a split schedule of one night in each place. But thats down the road.
