Festergut vs Rotface

A few of us spoke with Nuit after KB's attempts at Rotface yesterday. With our wild rush into unknown territory we were able to slap around Festergut to around 80% which leads me to believe that Rotface will pose as the greater challenge of the two. Festergut is more like a tank-and-spank fight while Rotface has some quirky fight mechanics to deal with. While the concept sounds easy enough the execution has proven to be taxing to say the least.

Though Atar tends to run us through the fight, I urge all Salmon raiders to read up on this strat either here or at your favorite game strat sites. This will make the learning process of the fight much quicker if we all study a bit before our tests.

Festergut is basically a gear

Festergut is basically a gear check (with a bit of raid movement with the spores), 144.1K raid dps needed, 7.5K avg dps (assuming 2 tanks 5 healers).

Rotface is more of a raid check, can the raid move when needed to make things easier, take less damage, etc.

Pick your poison. But yea, learn both, mechanically, they're both simple fights with very few things going on.

Also as a warning, Putricide is currently bugged on 25 man, so unless some new developments happen in the next few hours, when you reach him, you probably don't want to blow attempts yet.
