I'm not sure if it's worth it to post this here...I think about 10 people read this. But, I'll do it anyhow.

Deathbringer strat: I've been thinking about it. I know there was some talk about a different add targeting system, and I wanted to mention this last night on vent, but there must have been vent lag and I couldn't get a word in edgewise. 

I'm of the opinion that we should not change from the add strat we were using last night. My reasoning is this: by targeting the adds "away" from you (that is, on the other side of the boss) you a) buy yourself more time to kill the add--especially important if you are in the front "row" around saurfang and b) make knockbacks more effective thus enhancing the chances that we kill the bitch.

I understand that it may be hard to target the add you're assigned to. You may need to get another mod to handle this. I've been using enemy nameplates ever since Putricide Easy mode because it was positively essential to be able to target slimes fast, and I'm of the opinion that this helps targeting substantially. This improved for me when I picked up the "TidyPlates" mod (thanks Theano). TidyPlates gives you a visual indicator if you have pulled aggro on a mob (boss or otherwise) as well as if you are close...all by the way the nameplate looks. Plus the nameplates are easy to click to select your target.

If you're not using enemy nameplates and you're dps, now is probably the time. I don't care if you use the default UI nameplate or use a mod to customize, but you'll probably be substantially less useful if you can't target the correct mobs on Saurfang.

I don't understand the argument that you can't see the mob and thus can't target it. This seems like a camera angle issue. Do a /console cameradistancemaxfactor=5 or whatever and make it so you can see the other side of the boss. my UI game screen is only about 6 visible inches (I play at about a 1.85:1 screen ratio) and i STILL have no problem targeting adds.

I'm not, like, upset about this, I just think that the strat we used last night is probably one of our best bets and we just need to make some minor tweeks to UI's and so forth to make this work.

TL;DR: If you can't target your blood beast. Get enemy name plates and maybe a mod called TidyPlates, and use /console cameradistancemaxfactor=5.
