I work for a small catholic non-profit. We paid this company to build us a site and they used wordpress to build it. The site gets literally traffic only from me (sometimes a donor), and this company was charging us like 200 bucks a month for google analytics, so we canceled it.
Now the site needs to be upgraded to the latest version of wordpress, but I am unable to do it. The reason for upgrade is we have a cart for donations that occasionally we get some money from, and if we are out of compliance we get charged 20 bucks a month till we are updated.
Do we have to go through this company from now till forever to update our site since they built it? I am an admin on the wordpress backend, but obviously I can't update it because I'm not the owner nor do I have access to the files; I'm assuming they are on their server.
Also, don't want to pay them 200 dollars a month so they can press the update button that I see on the admin page, but of course doesn't work for me.

Alt Raid week 2!

I will be running the alt raid again this week on SUNDAY, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. SERVER TIME!
We will be doing BH before heading back into BWD, if you post here make sure you are not locked to either of the raids please. All we need right now is another tank and a melee DPS post name, class, spec if you are interested. If you came last week and can not make this week please post so I know to not expect you, thanks!

Hey ladies, gentlemen, oh and Shakos...I have been talking to a some people lately and a few have expressed some interest in maybe doing an alt raid, now that we all have at least one lvled (most everyone) seems like it might be fun to try. So I thought I would make a post on the subject to see what kind of response I get.
Here is what I was thinking.....
I am only looking for main alts that are raid ready that are not still rocking quest greens, a little effort is always nice. If you post here make sure you can play you alt with enough competence that you can pull your own weight in a raid environment. While I am looking to make this a very relaxed fun raiding experience, I would still like to kill bosses so make sure you understand the bosses mechanics before coming. I am going to try and make this first come first serve, keeping in mind I can't bring six druids, pallys or whatever is cool these days, so please think before posting.
I want this to be something like a one day a week thing, maybe two but this would depend on who signs up and what we choose to do as a group. If this ends up taking place during the work week ( mon.- fri.) then I would like it to be around the time that G.E.L raids (6:00PM - 9:00ST). As for loot rules, come knowing what you need so we can do fair /rolls, lets make it as simple as we can. If this is sounding like something you would want to take part in, post below with your alts name,class and, spec. If you have more questions feel free to post here or contact me in game I'm on most days

If you ever enjoyed old Dragon Warrior style RPGs of the mid 80s to early 90s then you might find this game to be simply awesome. It has daily quests, PVP tournaments, an endgame dungeon with multiple bosses opening up this coming Sunday, a fully functional auction house, rare drops to go after, cosmetic items, multiple character classes to try, and all that jazz.
Aaaand its free to play. You -can- subscribe for extra stuff like access to more classes and the above-mentioned cosmetic stuff. But the gameplay, questing, and all the usual stuff is open to everyone. And the subscription classes aren't better than the normal ones; just different.
I've been really enjoying this little gem of a game lately and wanted to invite my buddies here to join me on the Norwood server. It's a PVE server and I'm looking to eventually form a guild to do endgame content with.
Obviously not during our normal raid times. lol ^_^

What we're experiencing here is a Threerick of the Grand Marshal species out of his natural habit. Usually found in the zone of Deepholm, Threericks will very rarely migrate to Stormwind. I had to conceal myself in order to get in close enough for a picture as Threericks scare easily.
SWD Macro for PvP:

As any serious PvP Priest has already noticed, you can no longer Shadow Word: Death out of a CC effect in PvP if you have Power Word: Shield running on yourself. I use a simple macro to circumvent this:
#showtooltip Shadow Word: Death
/cancelaura Power Word: Shield
/cast [target=focus, exists] Shadow Word: Death; Shadow Word: Death
I hope I typed it out correctly. What it does is automatically cancels the power word: shield on myself and THEN casts SWD. If there's a focus target, it will cast it on it -- if you do not have a focus target, it will cast it on your target. I know this macro is pretty self-explanatory, but I felt like I should throw it out there since being able to SWD escape polymorph, blind and freezing traps is essential to playing a PvP Priest well.

It puts a VERY NOTICEABLE sparkle effect on any debuffs you can dispel from an enemy target. This has been extremely helpful to me in both RBGs and arenas, as it allows me to see at a glance if I have cleaned the kill target of buffs, while still keeping an eye on positioning and health meters.
Seems to work with both stock unitframes and Xperl.

SUNDAY rated BG team

As the title says, I am starting a rated BG team on Sundays which will take place in the early afternoon (noon-3:30 most likely).
2 things you need to know about this team:
-While this team is seperate from, say, Grasen's team, it is not meant to be a replacement for it. I am creating this team to allow people who do not get to run with a regular team, a chance to get their games in and boost their rating. That being said, I may need healers who may have gotten games in somewhere else. Because your BG rating is personal, this can be possible.
-This is going to be a serious team. 3k resilliance is REQUIRED. No excuses. I expect everyone who is coming to listen to the strats, follow the strats, and be correctly gemmed, enchanted and specced to help us win. I am taking rateds very seriously, and I want to have a group with 9 others who take it just as seriously.
To run, my team will need: 3-4 healers and 1 person who can carry a flag (prot warrior, blood DK, feral druid) and take a hit. I also need people who bring more than just damage. CC, interrupts, snares, stuns, immobilizing effects are all essential tools that we will need, if we want to win. I need people who know how to use these tools.
