So obviously anyone who is in this raid knows we have had 3 straight weeks of either no shows, RL getting into the way, something. When I put this raid together my intention was for this to be competitive and us to be on Garrosh by now. Clearly that is not going to happen. I propose 2 or three options. Please, current raiders and any potential raiders, respond with what you'd like.
1) Scrap the raid: I'm not sure if people are interested in this with the amount of no shows, people dropping, things of that nature. Scrapping the raid will allow Thursday to become available again for people to do whatever they'd like.
2) Pull a MH: Like any raid, replacing and revamping is only natural. Seeing how this is flex I know people view it as an optional type raid. That's never what this raid was going to be and it sucks that people kind of let this raid get away.
3) Open it up: We could get a few more raiders and just have this be a flex raid, much like Elapsed's Saturday night raid. While that would make this less commital, the guilt of missing a night wouldn't be that bad. Should this optional be picked, I would ALLOW anyone to come on sufficiently geared alts. Anything 525 or higher is fine by me for this option as we can use OQ or OR as raid fill ins.
What's everyone's thoughts? I really wanted this to be Hardcore but it's clear a lot of people couldn't/wouldn't hang or commit.

Hey OFC Raiders. So obviously our roster has fluctuated a bit as well as start times to compensate some of our raiders. Couple of issues I want to address before we move on.
Start Time: We swapped to a 5:30 ST start time to try and alleviate some East Coasters being up super late. I am actually a fan as it still gives me the rest of my night to myself. Does anyone want to change it back to 6pm ST start with a 10pm Finish? Speak up while you can.
Roster Moves: With the departure of Markel, Pain has stepped into the Disc Role. Kymmu has expressed interest in filling the shaman spot but as we noticed 3 healers are not necessary for a lot of this content. Possibly later on (11-14 wing) we will need 3 healers but I believe we will be ok. Chaca has expressed interest in joining our raid and I will speak to him a bit more to get a clearer picture.
My raiding status: As you all know, I don't have the oppurtunity to raid normal modes due to my schedule. While I enjoy raiding flex, I want to push content and be in heroics.I currently have an application open with a guild on another server in need of a druid healer. While xferring doesn't thrill me this late night raid fits my schedule and I'd like to take part in it. With that I would transition to my Shaman as DPS/Heal so that when we need a third healer I am there. IF anyone has an issue with this just holla at me. We can talk.
Raid will take place this Thursday at the 5:30 ST Start time. We will be getting into 3rd wing even though 4th has come out so that we can get exp in these bosses. Please be on by 5:15 ST with Flasks consumables and such so that we can Q early and get the ball rolling.

Painhax will be stepping in for Markel, and Kymmu will be filling into the Shaman spot.

1st raid for us. Let's have all our flasks, potions, and consumables prior to raid ready to go. We want to hit this hard. Come prepared and know boss strats, we will be spending minimal time talking strats and more time tuning our boss fighting style.

By now hopefully most people know me as Turth. I've decided to go Hardcore one more time. With the introduction of Flex Raiding, I feel like having a smaller focused group will be something I can manage to lead. I'd like to get a group of roughly 17 people focused on doing Meta Acheivements and Heroic bosses at the Flex difficulty level.
So far, I have approached some people to gauge an interest on who would be available at this time to really put some work in. My current confirms are as follows:
Tanks:

Healers:
- Enixa Resto Druid
- Markel Discipline Priest
- Blizzhax Resto Shaman
Dps:
- Jobs Destro Lock

- Shatner Fire Mage
- Ephineprin Shadow Priest
- Instagram Ret Paladin
- Aeolyn Hunter
- Grasen Survival Hunter
- Latro Hunter
After reading up on Flex Modes and watching PTR videos, I've decided that due to the nature of this group, the more people we run with the more complex it gets. Although it is not confirmed I believe the devs will have to make what I call "brackets". IN these brackets are how they would scale flex as far as additional adds, dps needed, or healing needed. Right now we are at 13 members. I believe this group of brackets will consist something like this:
10-13 14-16 17-120 21-24
Of course I could be wrong, but I feel like this is something Blizz would do as a way to contain glitchiness between how many members each time a flex raid is formed.
As such I have narrowed down the Group to the above list. For those who are not on the list I apologize but in order to keep the nature of this raid as "hardcore". I believe more people would make this increasingly difficult when it may be able to be avoided.
