Was a little wrapped up with the holidays, ended up forgetting to post this. I'll be unable to lead a gkp tonight, I'm going to need to beable to step away on a moments notice multiple times due to some irls tuff I need to take care of. I thought I'd inform you guys so you didn't wonder what was up!

I have noticed that the latest patch has had the big time pvp warlocks change their talent spec. It was about half and half destro/affliction. Now, it is heavily in favor of affliction. I have changed to an affliction pvp spec to try it out. It has been quite effective so far. I have only spent a few hours in BGs with this so the testing continues for me. What I wanted to ask was how it was going for the other warlocks. Have you tried affliction pvp since the patch?
fwiw, I have also heard that the new gear is weighted toward affliction for raiding but initial experiments with this in heroics have not gone as well as it has for pvp affliction.
Need Helping Getting Game To Work

I decided to purchase Dragon Age: Origins the other night and I've been unable to successfully make it work. As far as I can tell my computer exceeds all of the requirements. I tried updating my video drivers, reinstalling, reducing the settings etc. No matter what I seem to do, when I try to load the game, it attempts to load for a few seconds and completely freezes my computer.
Can anyone help me fix this? Any information you need just ask and I'll try to get it to you.
Hello all! I'm making this post in anticipation of 1 wing of ICC being released. Assuming that ICC is up and running, and the bosses are attemptable, I'd like to try our hand at the instance in our weekend GKP.
I'm going to need to post pone the start time of this particular raid due to IRL things I need to take care of prior, but I may run this raid later than the current time in the future depending on how well the ICC Gkp's tend to do. So expect this raids invites to be started at 2:30.
As for rules and requirements!
- I'm expecting you to be bringing your best ToC 25 / ToGC 10 geared character, as we don't have a bunch of "over geared" players to carry you through initially.
- I'm expecting you to also doing some prior research on the boss fights ahead.
- I'm expecting you to not do what ^ tells you to do, and to at the very least not afk when I'm explaining the strat to the best of my abilities.
- Be PvE geared and PvE specced. I understand the occassional spell power / penetration gem in place of a spell power / spirit gem for a piece you use in arenas.. But I will not understand misc honor / arena gear if it's not something that is actually worth using over pve gear. (Example, 2200 Rated Caster Dagger, sure! Bad Example, Deadly Melee Hit Ring, no!)
I'm starting this event early, and will most likely do calendar invites in game in an attempt to recruit a stronger / richer raid for earlier runs. I'd like to settle who my 2 tanks and 5-6 healers are ASAP.

I'd like to attempt some icecrown bosses when the patch comes out, for anyone that's curious about what will happen to the GKP. That run will have a bit stricter gear restrictions as the fights are new and not everyone knows them automatically.
As for this week, I intend to run the raid at about 1:30pm. Please sign up and or be in vent when the raid is beginning so I can get all the invites out there!

I'm forming a 5v5 , we're going to run the comp as follows!
DiscPriest/RestoDruid/DestroWarlock/EleShaman/FrostMage!
Our goal is 2.2k, and then maintain 10+ games a week for massive points. There is an issue though, I've found options for every class EXCEPT and elemental shaman. You can be terrible, I don't care, there are only a few requirements.
1) You need all the honor gear, you WILL be the focus target.
2) If you're terrible, we'll need you to let the brutal glad shaman do his job so we can hit the rating, so if you can't hit 2.2k on your own, and can't deal with someone grinding up the team for you, and then getting you 1.4k points a week by doing 10 games a week for you, then you can suck my balls, and don't bother.
SO, Interested parties, please talk to me.
You guys know the drill! ToC 25 GKP @ 1:30pm server time. Guildies generally aren't required to bring gold but please don't let cheap items rot that are useful upgrades. (Talk to me, we can work something out, that is if you're broke.)
Players generally are required to A) Be rich, or B) Be geared. (For the pugs) Loot rules are simple, we will bid on all items with a minimum bid of 1k or higher in 250g increments. Other items will be bid in 50g increments.(Patterns/Orbs.) I reserve the right to kick you out or take your gold, so don't be a jackass during raid! (MY JOB!)
Minimum Bids:
- Armor: 1k
- Trophies: 3k
- BoE's: 3k
- Weapons: 3k
- Trinkets: 5k
- Orbs: 400g(Subject to change.)
- Patterns: 250g(Subject to change.)
All interested parties that sign up, please post the necessary information I might need to make sure you have a saved spot. Example: Website Account Name "Random letters and #'s" I'd gladly go on my dk or priest, if you'll have me! That's an example of doing it wrong. I don't know who you are or what specs you can bring to the table. So please be sure to mention your character names, your classes and your viable specs (not to mention, the one you want to spend money on! :P). Last but not least, hop into boomchickens channel for raid invites.
