As some of you may know, earlier today my Father suffered what appeared to be a seizure.

Since about 7am, he had been feeling very ill, with all the signs of the stomach flu. I was taking care of his needs through out this, and he had asked for a Soda so I got him one, turned out he wanted a water bottle, so I came back with a water bottle and less than a minute later (I'd of not been there if he hadn't said the wrong thing mind you) he yells in pain, grasping one of his hands with the other, and fell back on his bed and the seizure began.

He's had no history, but my Uncle died from a Seizure, to be more precise the lack of proper treatment - his children didn't know what to do so he ended up on his back the whole time and choke to death. Luckily I was there because he did vomit but I had him on his side.

The good news is as of right now he's fine, it was definitely not a fun experience which leads me to "Why the @ title!?"

The fucking paramedics were the biggest assholes I've ever met, condescending and rude the entire time. I explained to them the situation, and they immediately accussed him of overdosing merely because he had a baggie of weed. Who the fuck cares it's a little weed for his pain. One of them said he likely swallowed most of the pills in a bottle (as he has alot of empty bottles) and I explained that no he didn't I watched him he only took his directed medication.

After taking multiple times to get the information written down right which was down right pathetic, 3x to get our phone number? And you can't even get the fucking area code? What the fuck is that? They finally take him - to the wrong hospital - when we told him that he's insured here anywhere else would produce an incredible bill we couldn't pay - and it's CLOSER. And they STILL took him to a different hospital. AND to add insult to injury, they didn't even explain to my father what happened they just said he od'd, and when he attempted to explain what happened they literally walked away and ignore him. They signed him to be a junkie and treated him like shit. I really don't believe it - I've never been so disgusted with anything in my entire life so I had to say something somewhere. That's just out right pathetic.

The hospital did actual tests, and confirmed it was NOT caused by an overdose. I don't know yet what it was caused by, likely the illness he has contributed, but they do not believe he overdosed at all and found he had an increased white blood cell count and a fever - aka he's fucking sick.

So to all you Paramedics out there, I have the greatest respect for you, your job is hard and what you do helps many people - but fuck the ones I dealt with today!

Discussed it with the raid leaders, in order to help with raid synergy and since I've been doing it anyways we decided I'll be Drama Bomb's 3rd healer.

In an attempt to catch up in gear (because we all know leather never drops.. at least not the resto kind :P) I'm looking into getting some BoE items, I already dropped a lot of gold into my dps feral set, but ever since I joined I've been prodded to be Moonkin or Resto for raid synergy. So in order to make this happen if any of you have any of the follow items for sale I'm in the market for them. It'll make me suck less.

Waves Cards (Need Ace, 3, 5 and 8) (Psyli / Nobo contributing others)
Valor Point Boots (Coreyp says he'll sell me on the cheap side)
Various BoE's (Any drops that have spirit on them and are either Leather or non Armor Pieces I'm interested in, just hit me up please!)

So the other Drama Bombers know I'm now considered Resto and if a healer happens to pop up down the road when we need a new member I'll be allowed to switch back to dps, as to what spec that'll depend on the situation of the raid since we can't seem to maintain 10 people for 1 week.

I saw a very interesting programming challenge which was to write a script that finds the longest repeated substring in a given text.

Repeated
substrings may not overlap. If more than one substring is repeated with
the same length, you may print any of them. If there is no repeated
substring, the result is an empty string (print nothing).

This is by no means a trivial task but I was amazed at the elegance of the solution once it was hammered through.  The final test was to run it against "war and peace" to find the longest repeated substring.  FYI, that substring turned out to be ", which under his leadership will be directed against the redoubt and come into line with the rest of the forces.  A".  (I got the book in text format from http://www.gutenberg.org)

Hey Guys!

Our weekly 25 ICC 25 GKP will start at our usual time, 2pm, with high expectations! I'll be requiring 10 man or 25 man achievements of successful kills of Rotface and Festergut.

There will also be stricter gear and performance requirements. I greatly dislike having my raiders waste their time because someone is just completely incapable of doing their raid job properly. Another thing to touch upon is the random afks. I will set an AFK break after Saurfang, AFKing at any other time without good reason (good reason: baby diaper change, bad reason: (8 minutes after afking) oh hey guys i wanted a sammich)) will result in either a replacement or a tax. There was a few afk's last week that was pissing me off, and I'm not going to be pissed off tomorrow if some little asshat afk's for 10 minutes and I keep their share ^^.

I've made threats of misc. punishments and generally never ever followed through, I hate being "that asshole" but I'd really really like to see us focus today, I want to see atleast Festergut down.

Hey Guys, the GKP has a plan this weekend! Assuming we clear as fast, or faster, as last week we will be putting some time into Rotface and Festergut! That said I'm going to require flasks for Saurfang and beyond so please be prepared.

We will be running from 2pm to 6:30pm server like normal. So put on your game faces and let's get this done! If we do it right we may see a 4k return :p.

In addition I will be spamming trade to get better geared dps than we sometimes have. So I need you all to help me out and sign up so I can know what I should recruit!

ICC 25 GKP invites are at 2pm server time. If you wish to participate, recommend being in vent in boomchickens channel. I might not get your whisper!

I will be attempting to have gold passed out by 6:30, as at that point some of the raiders will need to go. Gives us a good 4 hour time to clear some content :D.

Thank you for almost 2 years of Downfall's playstyle, i'm leaving MMORPGs behind to take an other kind of life, better of course and proud to take this big challenge; i'm selling my computer and all this stuffs to get money to live in other city, to work by myself and live my life, my top dream.
