2.      The gear info I was going upon was WoW’s armory.
However I checked it again today and it did show that you replaced your 2 wrath
pvp pieces

3.      It just hadn’t made sense  to have a dual spec with no talent points put
into it

4.      The level 70 horde mage on Gorgonnash?

5.      It is a means for discovering how much you care
about your character. Those reps are the reps that provide you your helm
enchant (Wildhammer) and your shoulder enchant (Therazane) for your main spec.
Also if you go holy you’ll want to work on your Hyjal rep (Guardians of Hyjal)
for the caster helm enchant.

I realize that you’re in the military and
likely went on leave for the holidays, so I’ll just conclude the following. You
haven’t had the time yet to complete the quests in Deepholm and Twilight
Highlands. Deepholm for Therazane puts a human about 2k rep shy of revered,
Twilight Highlands will leave you about 2-3k short with Wildhammer.

6.    In general for pvp gems, the only pure gems you
go are strength as a ret paladin. The rest of your gems end up being hybrid
gems of some sort. Str/Crit, Str/Resil, Str/Stam or Str/Hit. Therefore the stam
gems look awkward and the straight resil gem looks outta place. There is a philosophy
for gemming resil, especially if you do rated bgs more than arenas, however in
that case you use pure resil in yellow slots and use resil hybrids in other
slots such as str/resil, resil/hit, resil/stam.

7.   While specs may work for a particular person,
usually self-made specs tend to be inferior to the cookie cutter specs often
used in WoW. For this reason it’s often useful to spend a little time
researching the specs on the internet. Places like Retpaladin.com or
Elitistjerks.com both can fill you in on a decent PvE spec and Retpaladin.com
can fill you in on the common ret pvp spec atm. The basic numbers for both atm
are 7/2/32 but they both place their points in different talents.

8.   The question was asked because your glyphs
really weren’t up to par for either pve or pvp. In pvp you tend to be specced
towards word of glory so the glyph of word of glory takes up your 3rd
glyph spot. In PvE, which I mentioned because you discussed that you would like
to raid if you had a chance, then it’s taken up by seal of truth.

9.   While I might seem extreme, my unimpressed was
based on the fact that you had done little to no research about the class you
were applying to downfall on and had invested little to no time (by the way
your character looked) in improving or caring about your character since you
hit 85. While this might seem extreme to some, this is a job interview for lack
of a better term, and as such we expect certain effort to be put forward. Most
of my questions were asking WHY you did what you did to give an idea why
exactly you did them. People often need to know why something was done in order
to improve the problem.

10.  This was asked because I commonly PvP and
usually warriors or dks with any gear and skill combined atm eat me for lunch.
Shadowpriests on the other hand, once I got some resil were a lot easier to deal
with.

11.  In response to the keybinds however it looks
like you mostly play with your hand off your mouse. In both pve and pvp this is
a bad thing. Have you tried using modifier keys for your attacks such as shift,
control or alt? Most player keybinds are keybound on the left half of the
keyboard. The reason for this is so that they are able to keep their hand on
their mouse at all times. To give you an idea my main attacks are bound `-5,
with 6 and 7 being consecrate and lay on hands specifically. I also have things
keybound on q, e-y, f-h and z-b. On top of this I have a few things keybound to
mouse buttons 4 and 5 but that’s it. This way I never have to take my hand off
my mouse and can easily use it to turn back and forth.

I will repeat again that your guild app is
not dissimilar from a job interview. And what you might perceive as extreme and
feel that I’m wrong for calling you very unimpressed. You must remember you
aren’t the first ret app I’ve seen and you probably won’t be the last.
Unfortunately you came extremely uninformed to this app and it shows through
clearly. Apps are one of our few times that we can actually thoroughly dismantle
you and start to build you back up into a better player through feedback. The
questions I asked in my first one were to gauge you and why you did things,
from there we start changing mindsets and abilities. 

Also you might wanna get up with crawfeesh to adding some mods to your UI to improve its function. Being able to move the positions of things like your character portrait to areas you're more likely to look at is a great ability to have. As is grid. If you do end up modifying your UI please include that screenshot as well. 

We are hurting for healers in both PvE and PvP.   If a switch is something you would consider i;'d like you to start practicing holy in both settings and get to work on assembling a holy set. This is not required to git in Downfall,   but would likely greatly speed up this whole process.
