1) I would only really pick on one peice of gear you have on right now, that being [Eye of Magtheridon]. What other trinkets do you have available?
2) Also, for raiding (esp. Hyjal), I'm a little suprised that you passed up Blastwave and Dragon's Breath for Molten Shields. What was your reasoning?
3) Does Mayhem use WWS parses? If so, what is your usual DPS on a "Tank-n-spank" fight? (I would consider Rage, Azgalor or Naj'entus to be fair examples for a mage.)
All that aside, I'm sure Karli would be ecstatic about the thought of having another female mage to keep her company in the mage channel.

I'm told that Mayhem doesn't use WWS often. But, I used to be in the top ten on damage meters. It's been going down, but I'm not quite sure why. Everything I've tried isn't working so I'm thinking it could be my computer.
Once I get time after all this Prom business I'm going to pretty much delete everything BUT WoW off this computer.

Dufe — Thu, 05/08/2008 - 14:40[The Lightning Capacitor] = win for Hyjal Trash. I'd have to run the numbers for the it versus [Eye of Magtheridon] for single target, but I'm pretty sure that with the level of Spell Hit/Crit you've got, the capacitor would be a better choice.
Out fo curiousity (since I KNOW Karli will ask later anyway) what spell rotation do you use?

Aftonio — Thu, 05/08/2008 - 14:52ugh. I had all this typed out but then my fingers slipped and somehow erased it all.
With this spec, I scorch x5, then fireball until my hearts content (or until scorch needs to be refreshed). I pop my trinket and cooldowns pretty early so I can use them again during the fight.
With arcane I Arcane Blast x3, arcane missile x1 and scorch a few times as a filler until the debuff for Arcan Blast is gone. AP/POM Pyro, then do it all over again.
