I think mods are very important for the most part to the success of a raid. It seems that most of the time the people who are failing are not running mods or even bare essential mods like DBM or Big wiggs.

Raid Experience:

I have raided in 10 and 25 Naxx and cleared both. I am currently raiding on Friday nights 10 man Ulduar. We have made it as far as Iron Council.

I am a married guy living in Indiana, Pennsylvania, right outside of Pittsburgh, PA. My older brother is Darthon who recently joined Downfall. I spend tons of time playing WoW!! (who doesn't?) I enjoy working in my yard and hanging out with my daughter.

I don't know about you guys, but anybody who has a sleek and sexy, fully-modded UI automaticaly goes up 50 brownie points compaired to those that still use a stock UI with various mods thrown on. It shows that they have a good grasp of what is going on and have tuned their UI to suit their needs and show them what is most important for them to know. Marv's UI tells me he is that kind of player: +50 Brownie points.

I wish I had my old UI from BC back. I'll make it a point to make me another sleexy (ha see what I did there) UI once I get my mac. Right now mine looks like crap but it is functional lol

Vulk...thanks for the compliments on the UI. I am becoming an addon junkie! I couldnt have done it without the help of Primeight! He really gives great pointers when it comes to UIs and Macros!

i realize my opinion doesnt count for shit as im new to df myself but marv is a really cool dude always upbeat and fun to raid with. the kinda guy that when your frustrated and the tesion is high getting through progression he will make a wise crack and have the raid laughing. from what ive seen raidng with marv in bob he has been consistently stepping his game up and getting better and better everytime i raid with him i think with the guidance of df's mages his dps possiblities are endless.

Not sure how much weight my comments carry, but Marv is my brother in RL. He and I started playing at the same time and because he lives 1 1/2 hours away, it is our chance to hang out. He is a funny dude, takes advice and suggestions and puts them to use. Hope he gets a shot.

Hell yeah, Marv is a very good mage. He's been trying a lot of new stuff with specs lately and that's probably where the issues near the top of the app forum sprang from. I kept urging him to stack more hit a while back in BoB because I was trying to get him into the FFB spec. it wasn't really your style was it Marv? ~_^

Anyways, not to beat a dead horse but he's friendly and very easy-going even when things start to get tense in a raid. On a side note, Marv and me (Dragonfyre) make a good team in every raid I've seen so far, so I guess we'll just have to show you guys how we do it, right M?

You are definitely right...FFB was not the spec for me. Maybe I would like it better if I had an idea of what the casting sequence should be.

And yes....you are right! We have made a hell of a team and given the chance, we'll show these guys how we roll! You amazing DPS and my good looks...where can we go wrong? ha ha ha
