With everything thats been going on in life the past few weeks it feels like the time to say good bye to raiding with Salmon.  I don't have the time, I don't have the drive to be here every night, I'm not feelin it.  It's been real guys, thanks for all the laughs.

But I can't resist.  This article is about a quadraplegic who "swam" the English channel:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100919/ap_on_re_eu/eu_france_amputee_swimmer

- He "swam" across?  I would have thought he'd bobbed across.

- Why didn't he just use "specially designed prostheses" with a motor attached?

- Those dolphins were saying "WTF?" and "They're never going to believe this back at the pod."

- His book should have been called "I decided to live by doing shit that could easily kill me.  Anyone want to part what's left of my pubic hair with a harpoon?  Please kill me."

- Let's just hope that the exceptionally idiotic thing he did to himself that caused him to lose his limbs also fried all his sperm.

This Drupal thingy won't let me upload this gif, so to bypass that, here's a blog.

When I saw:

Thought it'd be interesting to combine them.

Another one:

So, I'm looking into buying a 1 TB External Hard Drive and was wondering if there were any suggestions of which one to buy.  Any good reviews on any brands of externals you guys have used or have before will be great.  Some help choosing will be great, I don't feel like wasting money on buying an external and it breaking down with all my back ups in a couple of months.

Here are some that I have been looking at.

Fantom GDP1000EU GreenDrive External Drive - 1TB, 7200RPM, 16MB, eSATA, USB 2.0

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5086206&CatId=2429

This seemed to be a fairly solid one that I found at Tigerdirect.  It's fairly cheap and seems to have some decent reviews.

Western Digital WDBAAF0010HBK My Book Essential External Hard Drive - 1TB, USB 2.0

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5255816&CatId=2421

This was originally my first pick but it seems that they had some poor reviews off the bat so i'm rethinking about this one.

If anyone has used any of these products or any other ones and feel like they want to share their experience with them, then that would be amazing.
