Sony Vegas 7.0 either way extracting it form the MPQ file with MyWarCraftStudio is easier. For those using the program here is the directory.
..
World of Warcraft\Data\enUS\patch-enUS. MPQ from there go through \sound\Creature\Akama or \Sound\Creature\Illidan

Extract the sounds to another folder where u can listen to them and add them into w/e you are using.

You should be able to de-mux any AV file with the right tool. It's been quite awhile since I've had to do it, so I don't remember what all the "best" tools out there were, but I know that the WMV Encoder you can download from MS can do it.

Awesome ll use that, unfortunantly with the fraps recording thing the audio and video files are inseperable, you delete one it deletes the other making it an EXTREMELY large file for just audio.

turn off vent, set fraps to record audio, and run those commands. You'll now have a video file with an audio section you can use. Just delete off the video, keep the audio and lay it down in your editing program.

Now, just to put it in writing, here are our plans from here on out:

Tuesdays: Moving through BT very very fast. I fear we're going to get cocky and wipe on Supremus five times every night now :( Goal is to have the following bosses dead: Naj, Sup, Akama, Teron, Bloodboil, RoS
Wednesdays: Sharahz, Council, Illidan, Hyjal easymode bosses
Fridays: If Illidan is still up for whatever reason, finish him off. Then Hyjal
Monday: Monday will be our "Exploration" nights. I'd like to really fit an Archimonde into our schedule each week, so he could go here. Arch does a lot of things for us, but specifically he makes us better players and the gear is best in slot for a long time. We've done Arch in much less gear before, he will be good practice :)

The goal is to move fast, and get done early. Once we legitimately have BT -> Hyjal cleared by Friday, we can use Mondays to go play with the Tazer-Bots in Sunwell.
