I feel like some addons are terrible for a raiding setting, though i use a couple. Mostly I use DBM, omen, recount, and grid. I feel like I don't need that many more. I could get used to more, but i like to keep it close to the base setup, since that's what I've been using for years and years.

PvE

Raid Experience:

Well, I first got into raiding near the end of vanilla, doing hunter DPS for Zul'Gurub. I've also done MC somewhat. In BC, I mainly did PvP, but i had experience with Kara, SSC, Gruul's, and Zul'Aman. In WotLK, I leveled up my DK, and I've raided everything except for ICC and ToGC, but that's mainly because I've never found a good raiding guild.

I am currently a junior in high school, active in multiple sports throughout the year. I have a good sense of humor, and I'm pretty honest. I play WoW during my spare time (which happens to be a good amount during the summer). Pretty big fan of the TV show Heroes, and l am a big fan of music. I really like newer alternative, like the Strokes, Modest Mouse, Passion Pit, the Killers, and many others. I play the drums, and am still searching around for a band to play with (i have about 3 years of experience).

That was really bad timing, i just started when my dad needed me to run an errand. It was either half an hour off of the game or the rest of the day because he would've kicked me off. Bad coincidences just happen, sorry.

For some reason, the UI picture got messed up.

My UI, however, is just the default map, buffs, actionbars. Then I have omen, DBM, recount, chatter and grid showing.

Edit: Also meant 4 hours a day on playing.

You're pretty young. I feel like a jerk bringing that up but I feel like I can speak for us as a whole when I say we don't want to indirectly damage someone's education.

I personally was progression raiding throughout highschool in EverQuest and if you had asked me at the time if it was hurting my schoolwork I'd have adamantly denied it. The truth is, though, that I probably would have done a whole lot better in school if I hadn't taken my MMOing so seriously.

Now you aren't me. I don't know you or what you are or aren't capable of. But we did just recentlyish have a guild app who was high school age and that really didn't work out. When your biggest concern for not being able to make raid night is being grounded then its kind of...ahh...silly.

You seem like an okay person from what I gathered from looking over your app. Our 25man raids happen across varying weekdays which are school nights for you. Being not on the west coast you'd also be up later than most of the guild.

I'm not trying to talk down to you or discredit your application at all. I just want you to know whats up.

Get used to doing all your school work as soon as you get home, and kissing up to your parents on raid nights, plus going to bed as soon as raid ends(I'm eastern coast) This is what i had to do to get good grades and raid when i was raiding alot, and im in middle school, not evben high school lol, idk though maybe my school is just hard(Fuck private schools)

I totally agree with you considering one of mine and Theano's close friends flunked out of OU for playing WoW. Well i'm not gonna say it was completely WoW's fault but staying up late and playing this game is nowhere near as important as a person education.

Regardless of us saying that your young and still in school, i hope everyone gets a chance to raid with this awesome group of people. Good luck with your app. and school.

I don't know, I'm not the average kid school-wise. I've been playing WoW since middle school, and I've held a 4.4 GPA throughout high school. I don't think academics is the problem. the only problem right now is my UI picture and the fact that I won't have the time to raid for about another month. by then I'll be done with swim team, WPA and whatnot.
