Hey Airocket, sorry I couldn't get up with you last night. Life took a crazy turn and I got busy. 

I looked at your new setup and things look a bunch better. I'd still like to run you through a resimulator and check your reforging to see if you couldn't optomize a bit more, but I don't think you'd get an extra tick of Unstable Affliction through simple reforges at this point, so you're looking pretty good.

Work on these things:

1. PvP ring: You already know this, so I won't harp on it. I'm sure you're working on getting a better one, do keep working toward that.

2. Belt: After a FL trash run or two you'd have a 378 vendor belt, so I'd get after that asap as that would be a nice Intellect upgrade.

3. You've got an int / crit gem in your pants. You should change that to a Reckless Ember Topaz for int / haste.

4. If you're sitting on a goldmine, getting a tailor to craft you the epic boots would be an upgrade over the ramkahen rep boots. Now, the rep boots are actually itemized pretty nicely, and the rep boots, well, they're not. Soooooo, you might just want to hold out for the Shannox boots which are crit/haste and, well, they drop off of shannox so you should see them eventually.

5. Professions: So, JC is a good way to go, and I understand the motivation to level mining with JC--much easier and cheaper. But, well, honestly mining, as you probably know, does nothing for you. You may just be best off paying your way up with JC and doing something that does have synergy. For example, enchanting. The highest dps option is tailoring. If you don't have a tailor in your toon family, just buckle down and level tailoring. Enchanting also works well with tailoring. Other options as good as enchanting are Alchemy, Leatherworking, JC, Engineering (i think), probably BS (don't you get extra sockets or something...i can't remember). Just not mining or herbalism. The herb dps CD is ok, it's just not nearly as good as any of the others.  Fortunately your levels for JC/mining are low enough that you can still switch w/o much wasted time.

I'd like to help you out and see you make a few changes that should improve your dps nicely. I'll probably be on tonight if you'd like to chat about any of these things:

1. I'd like to run you through simcraft and run those numbers through wowreforge.com just to check on a few suspicions I have. So it would help me a lot if you could log out on your lock in your best gear and in the raid spec you would likely use. I would be pretty surprised, given the gear you're currently wearing, if you're reforged optimally. Looks like you could drop a bit of mastery and crit in favor of haste and crit and pick up a not-insignificant amount of dps. As I said, if you're on tonight, I may have you join me in vent or at a target dummy so we can go over a few things.
2. I'm mostly curious about these things because we do happen to have a raid spot opening up and I wouldn't mind giving you some consideration for that spot. We've got others we're looking at too, but you might be able to slide into a fill-in role in the coming few weeks while we try you out. Before we do that, though, we'd like to be able to see what you can do and get to know you, too.
