Tell us a little of your history in WoW.:

Been playing since original wow, loved BC not so much Wrath or Cata. Have not found a guild that really raids allot or just keeps to one group, mist i have tryed stepping it up and being more of a serious raider/pvp and have tanked 9/9 gold CMs

How do you feel about the state of your class in the game?:

Really good i love tanking, try to know how to tank everything im doing and will look up what i need to be the best tank i can. I think paladins are one of the stronger tanks with lots of support ability.

What led you to our guild and what would you like to accomplish with us?:

I am going no were in my guild and Auston told me to try your guild because there was opportunity.

have tanked all bosses in SoO 14/14 Raidfinder
most bosses in Flex and little normal
tanked 9/9 gold CM(If that means anything)

Describe Your Playstyle:

different action bars for aoe and single target. I use minor low cool-down defensive abilities when ever i can and use major cd's when the punishment comes, try to keep a shield or dot heal on me at all times to help healers out as much as possible. try to have a backup for defense and offense at all times.

What are your most and least favorite boss encounters?:

madness of Deathwing was a big let down compared to final bosses of previous expansions. very easy and repetitive. Nothing changed through the fight it was jump kill limb,jump kill limb.

I'm the raid lead for Galaga (we're the 2 nights a week raid; TH/SUN 9pm server) and although I usually pally healz this last xp, I did tank before that and will in WoD. I agree with you that pally tanks for many xp's have been great on utility and survivability and meh on dps. Luckily, in WoD dps has been bumped, yeah!

I'm sure you know your toon forwards and backwards including aoe and single target rotation, but I have a few questions maybe you could clear up for me.

As far as talents:

1. Did you pick Selfless Healer because you like to help out on healz in raid? Sacred Shield lb for lb is likely better for u as a tank.

2. Unbreakable Spirit is great for short cd's, but I often use Clemency to double up on Hands. Speaking of Hands, I don't see them on your UI. How do u access HoP, HoS, HoF? Can you tell me a boss fight that you use them on? Maybe your screen shot is for a certain situation that u didn't have them "handy" . . .

3. Sanctified Wrath is a fine dps bump choice. For me as a tank in our raid, control is more important. Personal preference, but Holy Avenger is really useful for those snap aggro or self healz situations during boss fights. Just something you might want to try.

4. Holy Prism is a nice choice since your often on boss, but again you might want to try Light's Hammer, since you can use it on a ranged location on some raiders or to help with snap aggro/damage on a pile of adds while your running there to help.

If you need any suggestions on glyphs, I'm happy to make a suggestion or two and thanks so much for applying.

Hello there fellow paladinerino, I noticed that on your prot spec, you only have one glyph, even though there's a few good glyphs that can give you a dps increase. Is there a reason why? Considering you have tanked Gold CMs, I assume that you know your class.

Do you use any add-ons besides DBM? A tracker of Shield of Righteousness, Eternal Flame, Hands, etc etc? The pallies I know/seen have at least a tracker for shield to know whether they should have it up on a huge incoming damage to them.

You mentioned that you have tanked most flex bosses and some on normal, will you tell us which one was your favorite and the one you dislike and why? I want to hear from your own perspective and how you deal with them.

I don't have much to say for now because we've gone through pre-patch and it'll be WoD soon, so it'll be interesting on how things will work out.

Glyphs

Hello i actually had my glyphs taken out when the patch hit on all my toons i don't know what happened with that. I did have a few ability tracking addon's i can not remember off the top of my head, i did remove them after patch, waiting for updates and new and best addon's to use.
My least favorite boss would need to be norushen. Only reason this is my least favorite is due to how many people at LFR and Flex even some normal groups do not know how important the adds are and tunnel the boss.

Hey, sorry for the slow reply, I sent more of the paladins your link, but they all seem to be taking some Naps of the Light from their Judgment duties.

Welcome to the App Process, I'm Elapsed (Holy/Ret) And I have a few questions for you, that will hopefully spawn some questions from people who better know prot than I.

You're stuck at a weird resolution (1366x768 according to your screenshot) I'm guessing that's because you're on a gaming laptop?
I'm glad to see you're fully gemmed and enchanted. I would comment however that since the patch got rid of hit/exp those crit gems aren't helping as much as some haste or mastery ones would. (more of a comment I know)
You only have 1 major glyph in your ret spec, why is that? There's quite a few useful ones to have. (we can help you with that if you get in guild)
With Hallows End upon us, you can replace those junk rings of yours by chain running Headless Horseman. They're no longer Unique, so you can get 2 of the str ones and use them!
It looks like you have a few abilities keyboud to your mouse (from your screenshot) What mouse are you using?
Lastly in the questions and comments before my big one for you. In our encounter area of the app you only mentioned Madness as your least favorite. Which we all understand why you disliked that fight... I think we all wanted a big ultimate Dragon fight with that Deathwing model that flys around before Ultrax. god what a cool fight that could've been. But you didn't mention your favorite encounter. So I will re-pose the question to you. What was your favorite fight, perferabbly one where you liked the mechanics and it challenged you or you had more fun as a tank, and why?

Ok now for the fun time, Your Stock-ish UI!
I'm a bit of a UI chest thumper. I think they are the absolute best way to make the most of your screen. Your UI above is a bit of a mess because your chat is over your bars, you're losing a ton of space there. And your Recount/skada/details is also up in the middle of your screen when you can be saving some space.
I did a little mock-up of what you could do by simply just installing something like Bartender (which get's rid of the gryphons on the bars and gives you tons more freedom to change their orientations and size.) The white spaces are all areas of your screen you would/could get back. Now I do admit I scaled your bars down to 75% of what they were. But given how well keybound you are (including your multi button mouse, kudos!) that shouldn't be a problem.

Hopefully I broke the ice and opened the door for some prot questions, do us a fav and logout in your prot spec/set for those questions to be asked!

#1 no i have desktop but not all to great.
#2 will take care of the gems and enchants really focused on getting ults to 90 before wod.
#3 i have more glyphs but when patch hit took some off on most of my characters.
#4 I will run for them!
