1. Shaman is a priority based rotation. so is not really a 1,2,3 roation like other classes. And the priorities change depending on the fight. (1 mob vs 2 vs 3 or more). It's very situational

Single Target
(This is not the way i start fights its a priority list when your about 5 seconds into an encounter.)(Also not adding abilities with a cd of over 20 seconds wolves and such)
First priority is always lightning boltt with 5 stacks of maelstrom
A searingg totem must always be up
stormstrike
lava lash (and its procs)
Flame shock must always be up (is lower on list because if any of the move up there are off cd you wait until next global cd to use this, is why i start with this move after an unleash elements)
Unleash elements
Frost Shock

Now if 3 or more mobs your first priority is always is
(again this is not how i start the fight. to start it you want to always use flame shock and lava lash to spread flame shock first and thenn...)
1. fire nova after an unleash elements buff. Chain lightning with 5 stacks of maelstrom.
2Get rid of frost shock and always Flame Shock followed by a lava lash.It's more important than storm strike until all mobs are flame shocked and that's when storm strike becomes more important

This is a very basic priority list it gets much more complicated depending on the situation and adding the rest of our abilities

But i constantly read changes made to the class and optimize my gameplay for best rotation
