Raided only since WotLK, so full naxx 10 and 25 clears, ToC 10 and 25 clears, 10 ToGC clears, all but Anub on 25 ToGC, Onyxia 10 and 25 clears, Ulduar 10 and 25 up to Yogg inculding Hard Modes, ICC 10 clears with 8/12 HMs, 11/12 ICC 25 man with 4 HMs, Ruby Sanctum 10 clear. 25 RS had Halion to 2% with a pug group but fail people kept dying to lazers(awesome :P).

I'm one of those people, If you wanna raid with us then you should want to join our guild. We expect full commitment here. You dont seem to have that commitment. This is a guild app, not a raid app.

At the time of my app I was unsure if my guild was going to continue or not, there was discussion of people quiting the game and such. I am sorry for wasting your guys time, your cool people and I like chilling with you all, but I can't betray one group of my friends that have been with me for years for another I just met. Feel free to close my application, and if you ever want someone to just fill in and hang out let me know, ill come for no loot or any other benefits other than to give you all a hand and have a good time. Once again, I am sorry for wasting your time.

Here's what I take from yours and Malto's posts. You're commited to your 10man. You'll choose your 10man over a Downfall 25man. If you were to raid in my 25man you'd want to stay in your current guild.

I don't understand the point of apping when you want to stay in your current guild. You stated that you can raid 7 days week in your app. You've said you wanted to do more 25man HMs. So yeah, I'm really confused about your motives with this application.

I will say this. If I'm going to have a regular in my 25man they will be from Downfall. If people want to roll with us and be apart of our team then there is no reason why they shouldn't be in guild. Our guild has standards that we look up too. That said, every regular in raid is accountable for those standards and their actions.

The simple question is. Do you want to join Downfall or not?

cool cool. get sindy down? God i hate that fight lol. Did All You Can Eat last week.....zomg such a pain in the butt, ended up having a hunter pet tank her cause tanks dropping stacks was giving us problems. Wanded her practically the entire fight to not pull aggro haha.

About joining the guild I really would love to raid with you guys, your cool people and and get stuff done, but I really am commited to my ten man guild. Been with them for years know many of them in RL and if I have to choose one I can't really say that I'd leave them for you guys. I am working with them to get raid times seperate from Salmons and I will let you know how that goes.

If I can work it out so I can raid with you and not interfere with Crux that would be fantastic. If I can would it be possible to maybe join in guild with my 80 alt and run on Coreyp, or is it something I have to be in guild to run? Seems to me it shouldn't matter too much but I know some people are strict on the rule if your not in guild you don't run with us.

If I can't work out times, it would be cool if I could join you guys on an alt just for the social aspect, run things like DICK IN A BOX and Poker Face and just hang out. :D

You can ask my guildies, I am very commited to raiding on scheduled dates, I even used to go camp outside my church for a few weeks during raid to use thier net while my home net was down, and I am ALWAYS on time, usually waiting in front of ICC by raid start time. And I am always willing to contribute to raid with pots and things, ask Theodan, I gave him flasks for free the other day and gave Fjork a bunch of Eternal's for making other people frost resist gear for nothing.

I totally understand the commitment to a group and I am the kind of guy that I am either all in or out..... When I apped here I was guild master of a guild of over 450 people that I ran for 3 years.... Tons of real life friends there some of which have followed me here. But I had to make a decision to be all in or out..... I decided to app here and to give up my guild because I wanted to be totally committed....... I think it is a raid leaders decision But committing to a group would mean to me that it is the top of my agenda (and yes I understand it is a game - but also is a game for 24 other people and can be a real hinge point for their game enjoyment should 4 maybe 5 people not be committed).....

So like I said I am not a raid leader but kind of lean towards the all in type of Philosophy

Having ran raid groups for a very long time (and not really interested in running them now by the way lol).... Being all in is really important real life fucks schedules up enough as itt is........

That being said I love running with you and ofcourse this is a raid leaders decision

for certain. Even on nights when I really don't feel like raiding that much I show up because I know that there are 9 or 24 other people who are counting on me to be there. I just think that you can be committed and not be technically in the guild. But yes it is up to the raid leader, I understand the argument for having everyone in raid be a guild member as well, so no hard feelings if thats the decision. It really depends on the person too I guess, some people can be committed w/o the title of the guild under their name and some cannot, I just know the type of person I am and when I say I am going to be there, I will be.

Got me in trouble thursday night, I was supposed to run at 5:00 st with my 10 man to get Full House cause its all I need for my drake, and people didnt show up. So I said, "Hey does anyone have a problem with me going to 25 ICC with Downfall tonight instead since it doesn't seem like people are going to show up?" and no one said anything, after asking several times, so I joined the DF raid. 10 minutes later my guildies are saying come back we got a full group lets go, and I had to turn them down because I had already committed to going with you guys that night. They should have said something when I asked if they had objections.

You my friend are in a curious situation ..... I know that having that guild tag over your head does not mean commitment but in all fairness it might mean that your spot can not be secured either.... As is my experience ultimately a raid leader is looking to secure his raid make-up and it only makes sense that he would pull from guild first as he knows these would be the most committed .... I am not saying someone outside the guild could not be committed as well but I suspect that is not what a guild this size would be looking for in one of their 25 man progression groups......

Ultimately I hate to say it but you will have to make a decision on this toon probably.... or they shift their raid schedule ofcourse (guess that would work) but I like to look at it like this .... I am here to support all the guilds efforts and that means even their 10 mans.......

But dude your an upstanding person obviously and I hope you get this all worked out .... Do not envy your situation but assure you it will most definately cause conflicts of one sort or another in the future....

One other thing is that with Cat coming int he near future and downfall maybe running ten man groups (let's say that is the decision the powers that be make) How will you deal with that.... Where will your commitment lie???

I am committed to my 10 man group, and I enjoy 10 man raiding more than 25. If it comes to either my 10 man or 25 man with you guys I will have to choose my 10 man, but hopefully I can get 10 man schedule so that it will not interfere with any 25 man raiding.

That's cool. Thanks for explaining. Just for next time, know when raid times are let one of the raid officers know if somethingl ike that comes up again, or post on the Salmon event. What we really want is to try to get you in our raid cause you seem like a pretty good player and anice guy. Just let us know next time.
