personally I see no problem with casual players.... I do have a few questions:

1) You mention throwing your mending around.... Are you pre proc'ing your Chacra state? You were speaking of single target healing and throwing and initial mending before having chosen a state will put you in "Sanctuary" which is Raid wide damage friendly .... and single target obviously is Serenity ...(just was not sure you were aware as I have watched priests continually throw themselves in sanct by leading with a mending as they did in Wrath...)

2) If your casual how do you feel about PVP and Disc....

3) Show me how I can get all those pequins to hang with me under my Umbrella lol

Hi Maltoheals,

1) Yes, I like to preproc chakra state most of the time in instances now, and I mostly end up using sanctuary following the chakra state, since it gives stronger heals over time(for renew), and has that area of healing which is quite useful for healing all the crazy melees we get in heroics nowadays, especially when there are 3 melees in a 5 man grp. Useful for lags lol, with +1000ms sometimes, its better to do throw renews and sanctuary and let the healing do the healing for you, instead of button smashing. I do use Serenity mid fights to heal the tank when hes taking large damage, but I have to admit I don't use it much.

2) Yes, I always thought disc was the perfect pvp spec, but I haven't explored disc spec yet, I loooove being holy and dishing out bigger heals n renews, n guardian spirit for emergencies is a lifesaver. I'm definitely a heals spec even in pvp. Interesting now you say Holy is better for pvp, I somehow still feel disc, rather than holy, is more for pvp, cos of all the damage-reduction talents from the shields. Then again, I haven't tried disc to really give a objective answer.

3) I don't even remember how i got the penguins to follow me! I think its some quest in LK, where you're supposed to gather some penguins together, lol.

Yes right now holy is better right now but I think the general consensous is it is close to disc and I forsee disc overtaking holy in pvp .....

I would have to say there are very clear advantages with disc but I think holy clearly wins out for now but I am intriqued with possible upcoming changes to disc (they do not want to minimize a class to the point disc has in the game plus I feel disc brings things to pvp holy can not match)

Currently it seems that the Disc priest (which used to be the preferred
priest healing spec for pvp) is falling a bit behind in PvP. Blizzard
announced (or so I am told) that they would buff the Disc priest a bit.
So, it could be the Disc priest is not an excellent choice now but could
very well prove a solid choice in the next patch. Who knows?

So that being said I am kind of fishing here to see how she feels about disc etc.... I got a feeling it is going to be the pvp spec very soon just from the little reading I have done

Not really, i was mainly a raider last time. I see myself now as a totally casual player, logging on whenever I get the time, to do daily heroics, and the occasional non-arena pvp, which is only what my schedule allows for. I'm applying to Downfall because you guys are predominantly American just as I am, and are online at the same time as I will be. Please feel free to let me know if you don't accept totally casual players such as I am, I would perfectly understand where you're coming from. Thanks!

Hi Grasen, I applied to Downfall after asking a few of your members in-game, including Nuitarin, whether the guild takes casual players, and either got replies in the positive or was directed here by them. Downfall is the only guild I know with predominantly American players, so I thought I might apply, since I'm in the same timezone as you guys. I'm a casual player due to time constraints, but that does not mean I cannot play my class decently and do heroics properly. With the amount of failures on pug groups in 5-man dungeons, I believe I can still contribute in a way to those who require a healer for efficient 5-man heroics to stock up the valor badges to gear up for their raids(though I won't be raiding).
