ICC 10 man in need of dps fill ins :

I ran some randoms with this guy yesterday, He did well on DPS, over 50% when someone linked meters, but what can you tell from that with a bunch of pugs? 

What I can tell is that he has good aggro control. He didn't pull off of tanks, even when they were terrible, so he has good aggro management when going all out. He was also fun to run with; him and I got the usually silent groups talking and actually having fun on random runs that are usually dull and monotonous. 

I say we let him in.

We need ranged dps in guild. You need to be online and ready to rock on our raid nights. Chances are you'll get some action this week.

Hello! Resident boomchicken here, thought I'd pick your brain for some information.

Currently the armory is not working, so I'm using wow-heroes to check out your gear, so if it's wrong please state so, or if you logged off in the wrong set or something.

First off! You call your spec a cookie cutter build that optimizes single target dps. http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#0xRruiIscdIVhouZbxczb

This spec is the optimal single target dps (assuming 2 piece t10 and zero mana issues). If you didn't have 2 piece t10 Omen of Clarity would provide no dps benefit, and thus would be best placed in Brambles.

I would recommend this spec, or remove the talent from Gales of Winds into Brambles for optimum single target damage. I find it's such a minor single target dps increase to spec brambles and the longer range on cyclone for Deathwhisper and larger aoe dps on trash is extremely useful.

Last part on specs, are you actually having mana issues? If you're truly having mana issues Intensity out weighs Moonglow but as a Moonkin unless you're spamming hurricane your mana should be fine.

Next up, Gems and Enchants! Yay!

You'd gain dps if you regemmed your meta for the Chaotic Skylare Diamond and put 2 Purified Dreadstone in your gear (I recommend your pants and boots.)

Don't be cheap with your enchants, 81 spell power to Staff please.

Tuskarr's Vitality to boots is a must, the movement is drastically more beneficial than a small amount of crit.

Last, you need use an Eternal Belt Buckle and gem 23 spell power.

I see you have grid, I assume you have it open while running in a raid?  Only thing I noticed was the mini map button.

Also I did not see decursive or omen.  I assume you have omen but did not see it in your UI pic.

PS I am Zaxy that is one of my alts.  He almost beat you in DPS.  Granted that was a doomed run.  But you can put up some numbers.

Hello sir or madam, and welcome to the Downfall recruitment process. If you fancy a quick invite, have thin skin, or like purps over people then don't waste your time reading what follows, just press on now.  If you are a skilled player, or even a player in need of a little molding, and you have time to dedicate to dead bosses, and to a community of people that do more together then play a video game, then here's a few things for you.

Recruitment Process

Step 1 Application : Well you've already completed this step by taking the time to complete our lengthy application.  Some think it's silly, we have documented proof that it easily weeds out the douchebags before wasting too much of our time.

Step 2 Who are you? : Type /join dfrecruit in game.  This will put you in our global chat channel for recruits.  You'll find lots of Downfall members in that channel often shouting for people for random heroics.  This will get your name out there, let people get to know you.  The more people you get to know, the more people will begin to comment on your application, and thus keep it "alive"

Until you start to get comments from those who excel in your class, or those who have nice/not so nice things to say about you as they get to know you, it's up to YOU to keep your application active, it's not just a matter of posting and never coming back, we are a website oriented guild, get used to using it.

Step 3 Be There : Be online during raid times, its even better if you're on from start to finish, since people will DC mid raid.  If you're apping to raid, it's a long and grueling process.  We DO need consistant skilled players for both 25 man raids, and you're not the only person trying to get that spot.  What we like to see is our apps posting on the raid events that they are available to fill in on a given night.  Then if you've posted that you're going to be on that night, make sure to shout our a reminder in dfrecruit just as raid is about to start just to let us know you're on. It may be weeks, it may be months before you see action, but you may end up with a spot the first time you join the recruit channel.

Please do not bother the other raid leaders, they have lots to do already.

Well that's what you can expect for the next few weeks/months.  We've had applicants that have waited over 3 months for an invite, we've invited people within a few days, every situation is different. So get you're name out there, get some comments, and good luck to you!
