Tell us a little of your history in WoW.:

I started out playing on Gorgonnash in 2004-2005. My hunter was named Accuracy. Since I have played quite consistently over the last ten years.. I will do my best to be concise in this portion. On Gorg I was a pretty young kid but I did both PvE and PvP at a fairly competitive and fun level!

I raided with a few people from the guild Reign, invited by Aubie(Dwarf Priest). I also loved PvP so I was in arena every second I could be, back then I was in a guild called fasten your seatbelts. Before that I was in a guild called Aeon. In Aeon I met my best friends whom I still talk with on a daily basis, and visit when I can. This is almost a decade later which is why Gorg's impact on me is quite meaningful, though I ended up going through many transfers as I PvP'd with different players. (Reminder: I now knew these Gorg guys away from keyboard. We are best friends to this day. Just another reason why leaving Gorg didn't feel like I was leaving everything behind).

The last 5 or so years have been spent on different large population servers doing both arena and rated battlegrounds at a competitive level. In MoP I took RBGs more seriously than I had ever before. I wasn't happy with the strategies, hubris, and cheating I saw in the leaders of these ~2200+ RBG teams so I decided to lead them the best I knew how in this past expansion. I even ended up playing with quite a few Gorg players early in MoP! We did well...apparently well enough that we started facing teams that would cheat 50% of the time through a myriad of ways that vary greatly in severity. (From simple in-game exploits to DoS attacks on unprotected members of our team).

Long story short, I couldn't handle being the person that was in charge of taming an RBG groups collective ego, and worse...some individuals were just plain toxic to be around. I had a chat with my good friend on that team. He didn't cheat or mess around..and he is a smart guy. I shared a few helpful leadership tips, and asked the team to please listen to him with strats and that I would be stopping. I stopped at 2280 or something but was very happy to find out that he took the team to 2350 and got them their Hero of the Alliance amid what could arguably be the most stupid time in RBG history, in terms of people exploiting to achieve ranking.

During my break from PvP, I raided for a few months in 10 man normal SoO with a cool group of 10 people and tried to spend time off of WoW. We downed Garrosh and I started my short hiatus!

How do you feel about the state of your class in the game?:

The class I am leveling first is my priest, but I play rogue with equal passion and I hope equal skill. These two classes are extremely strong right now. Since I am applying on my priest I will briefly describe how I feel about disc in PvP. Priest has always been one of, if not the best complementary healer for a good group. Although we may not have had the best heals in the past, our utility complemented good teammates perfectly. It seems as though in WoD...Priests utility is still there in spades but our healing output has increased a lot. I feel much stronger than before. The only noticeable difference with healing seems to me that a Kick/Pummel/Counterspell is much more significant. I have to be mindful of these moves because people actually seem to drop very low during healing lockouts now. I remember not being phased by them at all last expansion. That's my small take on priest this expansion. Easily going to be in the top 2 healers category from my small exposure to the new stuff.

What led you to our guild and what would you like to accomplish with us?:

I was led to your guild because I wanted off my high-pop server for this expansion, and I figured what better place to go than my home server. I still have some friends that play here although I don't know which guilds they are in. I PvP'd with some Gorg players in MoP and I heard Downfall was still up and running which was awesome to hear! My main goal coming to Downfall is to hopefully meet some cool people that take this game for more than just a PvP rating. People who will talk to me even if I say "sorry we have a warlock in the group already". I am very open-minded to PvE and of course will be very active in PvP, but again my main goal here is to have a place in-game that feels warm and hopefully becomes a new home.

Which addons do you consider essential and why?:

RBG Targets is the main essential addon. It's like Gladius for RBGs, I'm sure most of you know that already.

DBM will also give you some essential timers in PvP, maybe even some warnings. It's also obviously essential for PvE.

For my UI I use ElvUI, everything else seems preferential and nonessential

What do you like in particular about the UI you are currently using?:

Everything. If there was something I didn't like I would change it until I liked everything.I like that DBM gives PvP timers although its primarily a PvE addon.

What are your most and least favorite boss encounters?:

This application is by far the second hardest boss encounter I've faced. So far no wipes but it's taking about 30 minutes to complete the fight. The only thing that tops this is 40 man Rag in 2005-2006. =)

I've played Rogue, Priest, Hunter. Played all three of these classes competitively since the days of defending Southshore from waves of horde scum.

My slow ass is level 91, getting off Kel'thuzad took longer than I imagined, and I've had a busy week. For the other members, Crownx told me that he formatted his app with paragraphs and stuff in the form, but it didn't take when he previewed it. Hence the longish paragraphs. Personally I think that he'd make a great fit in guild. Nice guy, good player, right attitude.

P.S. I'm 23 living in California currently. I love to exercise and spend time outside with my dog. I love to snowboard although I suck at it and haven't found time to go in a couple years. When I relax at home it's usually playing WoW with my friends, hanging out on skype, or playing with my pup =)
