Hit: Currenlty 7.35% currently experimenting with switching enchants to get a better value
Exp: 8.54%, reforged out of all exp, just have extra on gear.
Mastery: 135% unbuffed with stam trinket 145% with shado-pan trinket
Dodge: 11.93%
Parry 30.69% with stam trinket, 31.28 with shado-pan trinket
Health: 948k with stam trinket, 892k with shado-pan
Gemming pure avoidance plus jc stam gems due to 10m focus being on extra dps and the fact that flex damage intake being low overall. I also took the dps legendary cloak for this reason but could acquire the gold necessary to purchase the tanking cloak.

I run raid finder vial of corruption and alternate between shado-pan tanking trinket and rook's (flex) as needed, simply because they are the best trinkets I have.

Aeolyn — Tue, 11/19/2013 - 17:02A Riposte build DK tank? I've heard of that but never seen it in action before. I would think that you would really want to get that last bit of Hit but beyond that, I totally understand what you're doing.
Part of being a tank is speccing appropriate for your raid group. And since you're doing flex I get why you're using the build you are. Obviously you would have to understand that you may need to adapt your build depending on what you end up tanking (i.e. a 25 man raid = more incoming damage that you might need some Mastery to smooth out the incoming damage). As long as you get that, I can't really fault you.
Tanking is very trial-by-fire. I'd really like to see this guy in a Flex or something and see what he can do.

Cyzin — Tue, 11/19/2013 - 18:17The most popular build for 25 N/HC is a heavy mastery build because the damage is much more severe and there is more dps to meet requirements, lessening the percentage of damage the tank makes of the whole. Obviously I would rebuild to whatever is necessary for the content at hand.
I would be interested in tanking a flex, let me know which wings or if we want to do the whole thing so I don't have to double clear if possible. Unless its after 9pm server I'd be willing to do the whole thing, but if its later then maybe only a couple wings. Let me know in game or on the forums.
