I hate to pull this card against another applicant but I do worry every time we get an app from a highschool student. Our raids demand a lot of time and attention if you were to become a regular. And as a guild we'd rather not have someone fail school because a player is too busy running ICC and not studying, sleeping, doing homework, ect.
You may be able to balance it all. But I know when I was your age I hindered my own education to play these sort of games and I'd feel guilty dragging someone else down that same road. Just something to keep in mind.
Taking a look at your wolf spec, though, makes me sad. Pet talents are not complex and a quick trip to EJ or even Wowhead would help greatly. Your wolf is missing SIX points worth of DPS talents.
A few things to start out with
Asc2217 — Mon, 03/29/2010 - 16:54You have 345 hit, which is WAYYY too much. With that said, you have absolutely no reason to spec into Focused Aim, move that point into efficiency or anything really, cause it's not doing you anything atm.
You seem to like haste alot for some reason, haste is really bad for MM. In fact, with your gear, 1 point of crit rating is almost twice as good as 1 point of haste. If it's on your gear, then so be it, but don't glyph/gem for it. Replace the gem in your helm with Agi/Crit, and replace your glyph of the hawk (replace glyph of steady shot too, really) with glyph of kill shot and glyph of chimera shot.
I'm not sure why you bought the Herkuml War Token, wasn't the best use of frost badges atm, but it's not terrible. Going for 2 piece would have been a much bigger upgrade. Your next purchase should be your tier chest or helm, because the ones you are using right now are horrible for you, since they have hit. I know it's a lower item level, but your 2 piece is really something you should be gunning for. It is goddamn awesome.
I see you are gemming ArP, it's probably way too early to do so. Generally you don't even want to start thinking about gemming for it until you have 700-800 passive. Gemming Agi would have been alot better for you in terms of dps. Until you are gemming for ArP, for MM, the general rule is to go straight Agi, Agi/Crit for yellow sockets with 4agi or better bonuses, and a Nightmare Tear in your best blue socket.

Yes he is over the hit cap. Good on you there. Good of you also to point out how tragic it is that he is trying ArP gemming too early, and his troubles with the Herkuml trinket(I pray you are only renting that, Deathfromme. It's a decent trinket, but not worth the emblems if you haven't upgraded to T10).
but seriously? Glyph of Chimera shot? for it to be worthwhile, he would need < 90 effective ms for you to even notice a difference on a fight. Plus, it can unnecessarily complicate your rotation since you would have to wait the 10 seconds for Aimed Shot anyway, or go right on to steady shot both of which are stupid mistakes. Steady Shot glyph is still very valuable, considering how much of your MM damage comes from it. Steady Shot glyph will become much more valuable once your static (NON-gem) Arp is around 700-800.
Also, you're telling him to grab efficiency? You had better be sure to tell him that putting a point in efficiency is a complete waste, if Rapid Recuperation isn't already filled. By now, he should have no Arcane shots, so moving that point is acceptable, but be CLEAR. You're just going to confuse him, as evident by his new spec.

Sort of a one-time only Hunter tutoring session. I don't normally offer this, but the bad advice in this thread will confuse you. filled." Not to mention, the value of 1 point in efficiency is next to nothing in a 25 man setting where you never run out of mana. For his gear level, 1 point in Imp Arcane Shot, at least has 128 damage per shot extra everytime he is forced to use it while on the move. The best use, would be to put 1 point into Improved Hunter's Mark if no other hunter has it. That would be worth a 31.81 dps personal gain, not to mention the similar gains the other hunters would benefit directly from this.
Second, Chimera Shot glyph is horrid UNLESS you use it in conjunction with Aimed Shot glyph, and you have the ms necessary to get value from it. If he were to use Chimera Shot glyph instead of Steady Shot glyph, he would LOSE 234.80 dps. I regemmed him for the most out of his sockets with Delicates, Deadlies, and a Nightmare tear, and with Chimera shot he is STILL LOSING 207.24 dps. Steady Shot is a scaling glyph, so yes, it does get better with ArP, but it is a VERY good glyph and you would be hard pressed to find one better besides Serpent Sting glyph.
I tried all sorts of combinations of Chimera Shot glyph with his gear, and I couldn't find ONE that did better than his Steady Shot, Kill Shot, and Serpent Sting combinations. The only one that came close, was Glyph of the Hawk swapped in for Glyph of Kill Shot, and that was still a 35.11 dps loss. I even tried dropping his ms gradually, trying to see if I could somehow find a perfect storm that would make it BiS for him. I failed to find one.
When I say you are giving bad advice, it's only because you are. You may think it is, but your advice isn't fine. You may have a hunter, but you do not know how to get the most out of yours. When I say such things, it isn't because I don't like you. I say them, because when I see sub-optimal information being given to a guild app who doesn't know the difference yet, it makes me furious that he may come to rely on that information as fact without learning how to check for himself.
All of my numbers are generated through femaledwarf.com, and can be double checked by anyone who wants to take the time to make the changes to his profile. If you can find a combination where Chimera Shot becomes a BiS glyph in his current gear, I will give you 1000g upon verification. If you can use this tool, or any other tool vetted by the hunter community, to prove me wrong (including dummy tests with screen shots if you really want to subject yourself to the hours necessary for accurate averages), I welcome it and can't wait to see your findings.

I took a peek at one of your best hunters, and changed my pet, but focused aim really is fine since he has 2/3 for it anyway. Please go in more detail about gem. The thing is i can't really get the gear i need unless i'm in a non fail group, pugging usually fails, and i doubt you guys will accept me with my condition of my guy. One thing i do pull pretty good dps, so if you could bring me in a non fail 10m group i could get better gear to fit your standards. So please understand and accept my app, i'm working as hard as i can to fix it but there isn't much more i can do unless i get into a group. Thanks for the other advice though!

His gear dictates than he needs the focused aim while yours dictates that you dont, I find it hard to believe you are experianced without haveing this knowledge.
Also as a hunter you stand a long hard road to git into downfall. our hunter crew is very solid and there really just isn't any raid spots for hunters, that 3 mo wait is a likely estimate, or longer.

Yes i do need different gear because most of my gear has hit rating/haste etc, basically things i don't need, i still do pull quite a bit of dps, but i am slowly fixing it. I have already made serveral improvements and all i need is the better gear.
