wow. that is a long list. Ive been pretty much in everything pre-cata. But what annoys me is that I never killed the Lich King. :( . Cata content, well, I have done both 10m and 25m Baradin Hold. And I have done but not down Magmaw in BWD.

I've been working on responding, but I think your toon's page is down on the Armory because of your ongoing transfer. Moreover, seeing that page wouldn't tell me a whole lot as you've already mentioned that you haven't yet been able to raid in Cataclysm. That's not really that big of a deal--my brief peek at your gear (before the transfer) showed me, if I remember correctly, that you were in mostly 346's with an epic peppered in there and a bunch of rep gear (346's and 359's). Basically raid ready. Good work.

Here are some questions I have for you that will tell me a lot about you as a player. Please be honest, and if you don't know or don't do something that i'm asking about, just tell me it'll be better that way:

1. What is your preferred information source for warlock haste thresholds? Do you go to a website to find them? Calculate them yourself?

2. You've got a minimum of 3 DoTs, 1 short cooldown, and a spam spell that you use. How do you keep track when those dots are running out and when your Haunt cooldown is coming up? Do you use an addon? Do you watch boss debuffs like a hawk?

3. What is your spell priority list to maximize dps on a single target fight?

4. Are you a drain life afflock or a shadow bolt afflock?

5. Please tell me, approximately, what your stat priority is.

6. Tell me about what kinds of food buffs / flasks / pots you use in a raid situation.

Last one's multiple choice:

7. Do you find overeducated 30-something male perverts:

a) Mildly irritating

b) Extremely irritating

c) A little charming if misguided

d) Truly hilarious and worthy of being let out of a speeding ticket that they may or may not have been given last time they were in New Jersy.

If you wouldn't mind jotting down some thoughts to these questions, I'd love it...especially question 7. That one is pretty important.

WOW. Lots of questions :) Its 722pm here and I just got home from work. Am tired. But I will try to do my best.

1) i HAVE TO be honest. I have know idea. I usually went on the advise of another lock that I knew well and was top dps in most raids I was in with her. When I need to look thinks up , I used to go to Warlock Den and (having a senior moment). OMG can't remember the name of that website. But I will remeber eventually.

2) I use ButtonTimer and I watch the boss like a hawk. I am always looking for better addons for my dots.

3)Okay I take it that you want to know my spell rotation. I use a felhunter. One a single target BOSS, I use demon soul/soulburn/soul fire/haunt/UA/BOA/Corr. and then I get off 2 or 3 SB and then I have to refresh things. Once the boss is under 30%, I start using drain life (that also helps me replenish my health from using life tap). Normally it's not a problem using life tap if there is a good healer. I hope this answers your question. Im not a good typer. I usually like to talk over vent :)

4) HAHA. I guess I am mainly a SB lock but I like using drain life.

5) I need haste. WAY important for an affliction lock imo. My hit rating is great right now. And Intel is important. Spirit is useless for me. But I may be wrong.

6)Because my former guild didnt have alot and I didnt raid much in Cata. I still use Flask of the frost wyrm. I am bad with names of the new ones but if I have it, I use the Flask of Dranaeic Something. With food buffs in raids, I prefer the Cata Seafood Fishie Feast. I am maxed in cooking so I used w/e I have that will give my haste/intell/stam/crit.

7) I would say my FINAL Answer would be a combination of c & d .

Based on these answers I'd say you've got good warlock knowlege--which I'd expect--and a good attitude (of course, you're a grown up so I've kinda been expecting that, too.)

TBH, it speaks volumes that you're one of the Malto/Falbo/Shroom/etc crew. I mean, yeah, they're all subpar players, but at least they're nice. I kid, I kid. ;) Seriously, though, having these folks' recommendation matters as they've stuck with DF for quite some time and they're still actively involved with raids / BGs.

Let's get you into some runs, get some parses posted for you, and go from there.

Malto / Shroom / and friends, make sure that you advocate for Dia when she's online (so she doesn't slip through the cracks on accident) and get some parses up for her.
