I havent really played around with my UI. I still use the game version. Once played with it and had to reinstall to undo the damage it left me. DBM is a godsend. Anyone without it shouldn't be raiding... PERIOD. On my healers I use Healbot. I do have Grid installed but until I know how to configure it and become comfortable with it I will feel more comfortable using Healbot while I raid. As requested I downloaded the raid pack. Theres some addons I have yet to figure out their use... A work in progress I suppose :)

PvE

Raid Experience:

Icc 10 11/12 down with attempts on LK Icc 10 (HM) first wing + fester, rot, and BQL with attempts on PP and Princes Icc 25 12/12 (as of 09/25/10) Icc 25 (HM) first wing + fester, rot, and BQL Naxx - completed it all... but as I dont do it on a regular basis (you know the drill) Ulduar - all bosses down but last. (both reg & HM) Have all but 3 achievements left for the 10m drake. OS - 0-3D on 3 of 4 80s. RS - attempted 25m once on shaman but group failed. Afterwords I revisited my strategy on the fight (as I also did beforehand) but I haven't reattempted it. VOA know all fights 10/25m from a healing/melee/range perspective Ony know the fight from a healing/melee/range perspective both lvl60/80. Lately Ive been doing a lot of the level 70 raids as well - i enjoy earning achievements and rep while not raiding

I am the type of person who wants to earn their achievements.... not buy them. I work hard for what I want. I enjoy things that challenge me. I think thats why I enjoy raiding the way that I do... the push to get further, the joy of new content... new stuff to challenge me.

There's a couple of things I want to say about last night.

On a good note you have a great personality. You seem to be very kind and cheerful. I like that.

Bad things. You died a lot. I know it was a new fight to you and some are to be expected, but you could have avoided more frost bombs and other things.

Your healing was low. I expected to see you higher. Maybe some holy paladins can look at your numbers to see what was going on.

Thanks for raiding with us last night. I think you need more experience in hard modes. Maybe we'll be able to get you in on a fresh run night to see you in action on other fights.

Going over parses for you results in a few interesting things that I have observered.

#1: No one dropped Judgement of Light on Sindragosa over the entier night. I know, Salmon did not have Pelana last night, and I'm not sure who usually judges what, but the way you 3 (Pelana, Theano, and yourself) were situated and speced, any one of the holy paladins should have done JoL, with pelana dropping JoW. Which directly leads into......

#2: You did not even drop a judgement on Sindragosa. No, I don't mean on attempts where you died to a frost bomb, I'm talking the full 14 attempts that Salmon did. I just took a look at your UI, and am baffled at where your judgement spell is at. Infact, your UI doesn't show that you have a Judgement of the pure proc from using judgement, or your JoL having a cooldown.

#3: Your Sacred shield uptime, and usage in fact, is terrible. I see you used it a total of 5 times over the entier night. No, I don't care about you using the FoL HoT. Leave the HoTTing to the priests and druids; you'll never be able to reliabllly keep it up on a fight like sindragosa

#4: Your "other" spell usage is, well, frankly, bad. Now, comparing you and THeano over the 14 attempts, here is what I can gather, with me thrown in with 1 attempt on Sindragosa in KB:

You HAVE your 2 peice t10 bonus, USE your Divine Illumination. It is a free 35% bonus healing for you to migate the healing lost when you are using divine plea, You can also use Avenging Wrath the same exact way.

You're speced into Divine Sacrifice+Divine Guardian. Why didn't you use this at all?

#5: Yes, I understand Unchained Magic sucks, but there so many things you could have done. We don't expect you to do anything while you have Unchained magic, but you can do things before Sindragosa casts this on you. You could have dropped a judgement on her. You could have recasted beacon on the tank. You could have casted sacred shield on yourself, or the tank.

#6: As a guild, we healers are using grid for raid frames. You are using healbot, an addon that has been frowned on for most of Wrath. Grid is much more compact than what healbot will ever be. If you insist on being able click-cast your heals, consider using clique with grid.

#7: Your UI could use alot of work, and things could be cut down from your buttons. Things like Seal of Light/Wisdom/Vengance all can be taken off. Pally power replicates these things fine unless you're seal twisting, which you should NOT be doing. You do not need to put greater blessings on your buttons either. pally power takes care of this.

I hate those people who make excuses. I hate to be one of those people. I was really not myself last night.

I went online last night with the intentions of destressing after a bad day at work. Went into VoA for some easy badges when Ataraxia messaged me. Should I have been prepared I would have read up on the fight prior to going into a raid. Im not one to expect a group of people to educate myself on the mechanics of a fight after an invite. I dont like it when others do it so why should I be an exception?

As for my healing & deaths I can attribute some to stress (and the desire to want to to good for you guys to the point where I wanted to do nothing but keep my target alive - and admittedly space out on key and important spells), inexperience with the fight, and my bad luck with my UI and addons - having DBM bug out on me I had to focus on debuffs instead of the health of others and my surroundings.

Taking all of that into account, I am horrified HORRIFIED of my performance last night. I know I can perform better as Ive seen it happen. Many of the addons I am currently using since Ive applied to this guild are still to me - ie: pally power. I want to start using grid. Not knowing how to set it up correctly has slowed my progress in using this in a raid setting. I dont want to go into a raid and not be fully confident in my addons. Having them fail - ie: DBM only does more harm than good) I agree that there is some space on my action bars that is being totally wasted and I will address this immediately.

I thank you for your comments. I will definiately use everything to better my healing and raid awareness. Whether it be tonight, next week, or sometime in the near future I would like to show that I am worthy of this guild.

I really am not to much of a stickler for how you place you UI's as long as you know where everything is by instinct and you're not clicking :-D

As for Holy Pally, I personally think it's the most ridiculously simplistic healing class to play. LOL. That's why I love it so much. Make sure you get Grid, it will helps so much and set it to where you can see who you're beaconing, who you're sacred shielding, and that it shows who has aggro. Your main priority is to make sure your tank assignment doesn't die (which of course is beaconed by you.) Now start bombing holy lights on your 2nd, 3rd, 4th most damaged raid members while keeping an eye on the tank that is beaconed. You should have an idea when your tank is gonna get hit exteremly hard and in that case you focus primarily on the tank. This strategy if done correctly should put you amongest a competitive healing level with the way you are glyphed and specced. Also pop divine plea and and divine illumination on immediate cooldown or to the point where it's on a consistent basis. Also Remeber to JUDGE everytime off Cooldown. Also consistently holy shock also :-D

Rememer when the shit hits the fan, my personal philosophy is stragegic beaconing switches and holy lighting like no other :-D If you know the fight, you should have an idea of where your mana should be and that it should not be a concern for you. I usually time my heals and go all out on holy lights to the point where I run out of mana just as the boss dies. so this will help your other healers out in heal support.

Also don't be afraid to overheal. I am a huge advocate to over healing, because I usualy have an idea of who is going take a shit ton of damage and I like to heal them in one powerful massive heal kinda like in Dragon ball where Goku goes "Super Saiyen," where I holy light them.

Just rember that if you are holy light pally spec accordingly and use that relic that reduces holy lighty cost for mana, but if you are flash of light pally - make sure you glyph, relic, and spec it accordingly to that. Personally, I love holy lighting and that is why my geared is based upon heavy haste favoribility.

I am pretty sure you know most of this, but it's really to tell you what I do on my Holy Pally. Anyways I got an OB exam in 4 hours and gotta get back to studying. Remember to be safe, be well, and eat fruit :-D

I'm confused by some of your keybindings. Either I've been on the beta too much and you have rebuke bound to 2 or that's blessing of might? Along with auto-attack on 1, it seems a waste of great binding spots to me. Looks like a few really important skills are also unbound (salv, ss, bop, etc), do you use clique or something that doesn't show their bindings on the icon? It's not the most important thing ever but it can really help reduce screwups on movement heavy fights or when someone spiked in a fire needs a bop asap.

The armory is down for me so I'll let someone else look at your gear. Besides, I'm a ret. Everyone knows our attention spans aren't long enough to cover multiple topics per post.

Sorry that was my error. The previous image is of my bars when I quest/heroics. I have corrected the issue and have posted an image of my raid bars. Several of my healing spells i have bound to my healbot. With that being said they are not required to be on the action bar itself, including holy shock for instance. My appoligies for the confusion.

I am applying on both only because I was asked to by Ataraxia, as I mentioned above. I didnt intend to apply on this toon even though this one is better geared and has been in more raids than the mage. Regardless I have the experience and DF has expressed interest in both of these characters.
