Onrique — Sun, 07/04/2010 - 14:02Your numbers look to be pretty solid. KB already has an ele shaman (with great attendance), but good players are hard to come by. Im not sure as to salmon's current situation, but Id imagine you might be a good fit in there.
Both raids are in great need of 3 night a week raiders that arent stupid. If you fall into both categories, then Im sure you'd fit in well here.
Keep current with your application. Atar has already expressed an interest in having you for salmon, so make sure that he knows you are raid ready when salmon raids.

I looked at both of the

You are about where I expected you to be for 10 mans, your 25 man numbers match up with the other elemental shaman, and just shy of the enhancement shaman. Unfortunately, that is just how elemental has roled this expansion, very rarely hitting the top.
However, I have seen some of the best elemental shaman top charts in 25 mans, in a couple situations hitting 11-12k dps with less gear than you have right now. I'm telling you this, because I think you need to understand that as an elemental shaman, you need to always be pushing your self as hard as you can every night just to compete with everyone else. Keep at it long enough, and who knows what could happen.

Gear is rock solid other than you are 43 points under hit cap. I am also wondering why you have chosen to gem almost straight haste can you provide evidence of why its beneficial over gemming sp or sp/haste?
Can you provide any wolrd of logs parses I would like to see what kind of damage you are capable of.

Last night got the cloak so not hit caped. Was using Lich wrappings im going to use hit food and beat the hell out of a training dummy today and see if anything changes.
Elemental shamans haste > crit > spell power is why i gem haste.
My raid leader fails at doing logs. Can take a screen shot of me beating the hell out of the training dum today if that helps.

Falbo — Fri, 06/25/2010 - 22:36So after i did my test dummie to see the difference in dps and rotation. Decided to gem took care of the hit cap and gemed down the haste to find the sweet spot. Here is my new gear regemed http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?cn=F%C3%A1lbo&r=Nordrassil. A friend of mine did the math and found that 1116-1154 is a good base haste rating for elemental with relic of Bizuri's Totem of Shattered Ice. I found that 1126 haste with the relic fully proced (1346 haste) made a smooth rotation and improved my dps cause of the added spell power. I love it when one piece of gear makes me change everything from rotation to gems to enchants /sigh.
