My raiding experience started in TBC. I all t4 and t5 content, and my guild was on illidan when the big 3.0 nerf hit, and we downed him the next day. In WOTLK I was raid leader for <stalk and kill> (now deceased) and we alliance first'd naxx10 and 25, malygos, and that fire dragon guy who's name now escapes me. Guild disbanded after clearing all the content because the guild leaders weren't interested in doing hardmodes. Ulduar I full cleared minus firefighter and 1/0 light yogg, although most of the hardmodes were a few months late, and slightly nerfed. TOGC got tribute to mad skill (45+ attempts remaining) in 25 in a very timely manner. Full cleared ICC normal and then joined the military. Came back and did a few heroics, but nothing special.

The military kept me occupied for most of Cata, so I missed most raids, tho I did come back for the deathwing dungeon, and the guild I was in got up to heroic spine, but couldn't down it while i was with them.

Mop did the first tier up to the last boss, then the second tier released and our focus shifted, then i quit playing because kung-fu panda xpac was just too off-putting. Even the cinematic had me punching babies, and having grown up playing all the warcrafts starting with orcs vs humans, I've always been a huge blizzard cinematic fanboy.

TBC I was a warrior up till t6, then switched to mage at the gulid's request. WOTLK I was a warrior for all of it. Cata I was a rogue. MOP i was a mage again.

Been playing WoW for a long time, used to be a troll, grew out of that after TBC. I have a live-in girlfriend and am a full-time student. Next semester I have an early math class monday/wednesday/friday, so I'd really rather not raid sunday/tuesday/thursday nights, as a good night's sleep is required for me to maths.

My internet is reliable, except sometimes between the hours of 2pm and 5pm (my ISP likes to do system maintenence at this time.) I really like spreadsheets, and I contribute much of my WOTLK success to landsoul.

I love how I looked at this app and randomly saw my druid's name in the middle of the UI. Of course I was yelling too if you look and his chat window..... Tanking and typing at the same time isn't my best skill.

I think that's the first time I've ever seen raid frames set up like that at the bottom. Takes up a little too much space for my taste (even with the viewport addon) but I really like the look of it.

I got the inspiration from those audio visuals... the ones with all the bars representing different levels, and the bars go up and down with the highs and lows of the song.. except in this version they go up and down with players taking raid damage.

So I've updated my UI screenshot with a current fight. My gear is now enchanted and gemed, but I'm still using prot gear in some slots, and the gear I do have is still sub-par for this guild's current raid tier.

Please consider my application as a guild casual until WoD releases and I can find spot in a raid group and prove my worth.

While I'm going to let the warriors comment in more detail on spec and talents. I'll comment my best as a raid leader what I see right and wrong here.

Firstly, thank you so much for sticking to updating your app. The screenshot is an eyeopener and you even managed to snapshot a little of your DPS for us via your recount. I think as a pre-wod casual you'll be a good addition and there will be plenty of raid oppertunities to prove yourself and earn a raid spot with one of our 3 mythic raids.

Let's move to the brass tacks though and the rough bits I'd like to see if we can't smooth over a bit.

1) Your weapon is enchanted ≠ your gear enchanted. (apologies if this is because you're logged in and haven't relogged since enchanting) Every other slot is missing an enchant atm.

2) This is purely a preference thing, but how can you handle having your countdowns on your bars be SO huge, so much so they overlap with eachother. I can't honestly tell what abilities you're using or are off CD yet. (But that should be muscle memory more than anything so again, possibly a preference thing)

3) Lastly, as a raid leader, I can't help but note you're Arms now. Now while on the beta currently arms isn't bad (top 6 dps at current numbers) it's still not beating out any of the Fury specs. And with Live Arms isn't even close to a viable spec to bring to a raid.

I just relogged and hopefully everything else is showing up as enchanted now. I didn't relog before.

The CDs are rather large. I honestly didn't even notice that they were overlapping until you mentioned it, and it's been fixed now.

As for arms... well I've been hoping to pick up a second weapon through LFR and it just hasn't been happening. I'll probably just pick up my second weapon through pvp as well.

Welcome to the app process, Warning, don't read the following as if I'm harshly judging you. I just want you to know why this app will be "over-looked" for the time being, at least until you get back and can fix it up.

1) Apping on a sub par character. No I don't mean your gear (although some of it is obviously in question /cough axe) I mean exactly what you acknowledged in your app. You have no gems, no enchants, and aren't even using the spec, talents, or glyphs you applied in. Makes it difficult to judge.

2) UI. While the mage video was handy, and we could probably extrapolate that your UI for all of your toons is similar. Still nice to have a screenshot of you raid UI in action

3) What's your current raid progression? The question above asked

"List the instances you have experience in, and the farthest you have been in that instance"

That doesn't mean you have to give us your full all the way back to TBC raid history. We'd just like to know what you've achieved lately.

Esentially, what I'm getting at is, This app is on hold until you get back on the 17th and get a chance to fix it up a bit. I really like and appreciate what I see here, and I understand the desire you app sooner rather than later. But also a job worth doing....

Perhaps I was jumping the gun a bit with this app. I just got back into the game about a month ago, had about two weeks to gear up this warrior. I decided to gear prot first as it would get me faster queue times so I could gear fury more quickly (potentially.)

I've been "on vacation" for two weeks now, and the internet here is total crap, so my character has been kind of stagnant. I don't really enjoy feeling stagnant, so hence the early app.

As it stands, I really don't have any fury gear (maybe 3 pieces, don't even have weapons, will probably grab honor weapons until better drop). The axe I was seen wearing is a vanity item for looking cool while standing around town (again, the only thing I can do with the internet I'm currently stuck with.)

My UI does stay the same really. I put buffs/debuffs on one side, the raid on another side. I use power auras to tell me when I get procs and to help me manage my cooldowns. There's other addons at play obviously, but those are really the core. I'll make sure to get a screenshot when I get into an LFR on the 17th.

And my current raid progression is mogushan until the last boss, and then I quit the xpac. I've completed everything in LFR, but LFR hardly counts as actual raiding in my eyes.

as to your raid requests while i have it open and fresh on my mind. I can only speak for the raid i am in (animal crackers) but we dont have a need for another player in our raid right now, to my knowledge neither do any of the other 2 10 mans in guild. all our 10 mans are working on heroic content. YOur gear has a very long way to go before you could be considered a fill in.

Now that said, Downfall is a community first and raiding guild second. So you can definitely find the community you are looking for here. We dont generally tolerate trolls (unless your name is Deje) so I hope those days are completely behind you.

lastly, what subarb of Dallas? I'm in Mesquite, we have several guildies in the allen, wylie, frisco, area as well.

I live on the north side of rockwall, a few miles from the wylie/lavon border, and I was really just hoping to get into WoD raiding, I understand that there's essentially no way for me to catch up with the guild's current raid tier.

And I haven't trolled anything since like TBC really. I was like 16-18 then, I like to believe I've matured just a little since.

We have 3 potential mythic raids going in WoD. I lead one of them and we have no warrior dps, one pally dps, at this point in our raid.
