Tell us a little of your history in WoW.:

I played the game for awhile.

How do you feel about the state of your class in the game?:

We're the best in the game right now. I'm always top DPS in LFR!

(First, no matter how much I will want them Ret Pallys will never be the best. Second were not asking how well you do with your class. Do you read up on patch changes? Do you know where in a lineup your class stands? What weaknesses does your class have?)

What led you to our guild and what would you like to accomplish with us?:

Which addons do you consider essential and why?:

Addons suck, and just clutter everything, except for recount so I can see I'm top DEEPZ

(First, Find a screenshot and don't just put up some random picture off the internet. Secondly, addons are incredibly important to many aspects of the game. Running a stock UI, while not the end of the world, isn't the min/max way to play. Even PvPers run a couple of important addons!

What do you like in particular about the UI you are currently using?:

that addons aren't cluttering it up.

PvE

Raid Experience:

I was top DPS in my progression Kara raid.

(Kara WAS a great raid, but it was also nearly a decade ago. Tell us about your most recent raid experience and at which difficulties you got your kills in)

Describe Your Playstyle:

I just hit whatever ability feels right. I don't really know what my rotation is.

(Just wrong. If you aren't hitting the right buttons, you're not playing correctly and will be a liability to a raid)

What specializations do you have experience with?:

DPS! Why would anyone need an offspec. Besides Dual Spec costs too much gold

(Dual Spec is cheap, run a couple of quests or kill a rare mob or two and you'll have enough. This area isn't entirely needed to be a yes, but it helps a lot to know you're flexible. Also explain your strengths or weaknesses with your offspec)

What are your most and least favorite boss encounters?:

I don't really like any boss encounters, but I guess the boss people screw up the least in LFR. So any tank and spank fights I like, and the rest are my least favorites!

PvP

PvP Experience:

I couldn't get to 2200 as ret paladin/boomkin/holy paladin because my teammates were scrubs.

(The most important thing is that you are willing to work hard to improve your play and are ready to carefully evaluate every aspect of your game. Also, we don't want people who blame their teammates for a bad result. It's just bad form. It has generally been our experience that the best players are ones who take the game seriously, but not so seriously that their ego is damaged by good, constructive criticism.)

Is PvP your primary focus?:

I do both.

(Explain this! Do you spend all of your time PvPing in game? Do you like to split with raiding as well? Would coming to rated battlegrounds be your first priority or are you a raider first who'd be willing to come as a fill-in for the RBG group on nights when you are in game and not raiding? Either answer is fine, it's just nice to know what people's priorities are ahead of time so that we can build our groups accordingly.)
