This past weekend I was geared enough from Heroics to join Raid Finder, and I have managed to do the first 3 raids in Raid Finder, successfully. Guardians of Mogu'Shan; The Vault of Mysteries, and Dread Approach. I currently have ilvl 470 and I plan to learn Nighmare of Shek'Zeer this week.

I'm a professional. I work for the VA hospital. Some of the reason for my time off from wow was College, boards (had to stop to study), and I was recently married. (I have a wonderful wife who lets me play a few nights a week, it just can't be every night of the week.) :)

Spoke to him last night and is a well mannered person. My only question would be what's up with all the copy pasta? The questions each try to make you think a bit more about joining a guild, while giving us some insight in to who you are.

For instance

How long have you been on the above server?:

I have been playing since 2008, off and on, mostly on. And I tried several servers because of RL friends. I ended up on Gorgonnash within the first few months, because I found that those RL friends were online at the same times I was.

That question for most is a simple year, you've gone above and beyond and given us a good well rounded answer about how you came to gorg.

I have been on Gorgonnash since shortly after I began playing WoW. I have only ever transfered one toom between severs. Gorgonnash has, for the most part, always been my only server.

I began playing WoW in 2008 shortly before WotLK was released. I took some time off for school; but I'm back online now.

This applicant looks very promising and mature, something that will be gladly welcomed. However, I took a look at your gear. No enchants, only 2 gems and no reforging whatsoever. That can all be fixed pretty easily. With that said I suggest you invest some time into those areas. If you need a good tool to use i suggest www.askmrrobot.com it will do what needs to be done. I appreciate your suggestions. I will check out askmrrobot.com and see where I can improve. One of the reasons for the lack of enchantments and reforging was because I have only been playing Pandaria for 2-3 weeks, and I felt I could easily obtain better gear. Once I had 463 or better on an item I was working on improving that item, either through gems or item upgrade. I was holding off on buying enchantments simply for how costly it can get if you plan on replacing that item in a short amount of time.

I will make those changes happen. :-)

Which is best runeforge for tanking?

I was usning Fallen Crusader, but askmrrobot recommends Stoneskin Gargoyle. It's my understanding that being healed by Fallen Crusader is better than having a larger health pool from Stoneskin Gargoyle. Someone even commented in a raid that they were surprised at the amount of self-heal I was doing.

As I took a closer look at askmrrobot, and maybe I'm not understanding the diagram, it looks like i'm supposed to reforge everytihng into Mastery, even dodge and parry. Is that right? I haven't maxed my dodge, I thought i needed to make some parry dodge, but to make it all mastery doesn't make sense to me.

I did some research and I came up with this.

Now I believe I have a better grasp on stat priority.

I know I am still missing a few gems. Currentlly there are not Fine Vermillion Onyx on the AH. Also the Meta gem for Stam with reduced spell dmg is at 850g. I bought one but as I plan to switch out that helm soon, I didn't want to waste the gold just yet.

I think this is a great app.

I think this is a great app. Seems mature and looks like he'd be a great addition to the guild. We can always use another tank for our heroics, LFRs, and many other activities.

I have mumble and ventrillo. I was on most of the evening but didn't see you. Even asked a few guild members if you might be on an alt. Hopefully I'll catch up with you soon. I maybe on later friday night, and almost certainly sunday afternoon-evening.
