So I talked to this app last night, and what I got out of it was not very encouraging.

I asked about his not using a meta gem at all. His excuse was that "it wont matter worth crap because im not changing gems so it wont activate. but I NEED IT!!.. right? well.. no." My response to this was that, you would gain 11 int if you socketed ANY socket with a nightmare tear + a meta gem + any socket bonuses that you gained.
His response to that was that "...you guys are that worried bout 11 int?"  My response was that no, I'm worried about you not trying to do the best you can do.

I then brought up his using a spellpower/spirit leg enchant. He contests that the stam from it wouldn't help him at all and at the time he did this, he though the spirit would help him more. I told him that in 25 mans, survivability is worse in heroic modes and that 400 heath from the stam would probably save his life. He kept insisting that it wouldn't help him at all.

I redirected him twice back to his app here, and he just logged off without any response to why his Sons of Hodir rep was STILL at revered.

Another thing that needs to be brought up. You MAY or MAY NOT have had jewelcrafting when I last checked your armory 2 weeks ago. That would be another.... oh...42 EXTRA INT that you would be getting. Do you get the picture yet? Instead of you just thinking "OH ITS A META GEM, ITS A USELESS 11 INT THAT WON'T BE ACTIVATED", now you would get an extra 53 INT just by maxing out jewelcrafting to 370. Why would you care (if you did) to swap to JC in the first place if you don't care about an extra 11 int, but care about so much when you can get 42 int? No one here is asking you to level up another profession. We're asking you to fix what you have.

I'm probably pointing towards no, since I gave him more than ample time after he logged off to go get gems and enchants to fix these things. No fixes yet, and hasn't even shown up online during raid times, or in dfrecruit during other time.

4 months since dinging 80, No exalted rep with Sons of Hodir... why again, or rather, don't you have a main that has exalted rep with Sons of Hodir so you can send the better shoulder enchant to yourself?

Leg enchant is 50 spellpower/ 20 spirit.... why for the third time? Spirit is useless for holy paladins until Cataclysm comes out in maybe, I donno, early next year at the earliest.

The best spec was arguably http://www.wowhead.com/talent#sxA0gM0sVu0tgdZVcbxbh when raiding started in NAXX. Now the best spec for holy paladins when doing hard modes in general is http://www.wowhead.com/talent#sxAzgMbsVu0tgdxGzub. Have you ever considered even using one of these 2 specs?

Do you want to get some parses out there? Vougaven and I are in need of a holly pally for this week. If a guildy cannot fill the spot, would you be willing to jump in?
