Tell us a little of your history in WoW.:

I've been playing since late BC / early wrath. Raided for the first time seriously in Cata. Went 6/7 H FL and 8/8 H DS. Didn't raid to seriously in Cata due to focusing on finishing school and work. Graduated now and looking to raid more seriously in WOD

How do you feel about the state of your class in the game?:

My preferred (assas) spec is a little weak right now. I will be switching to combat once I get weapons for it to take advantage of all the cleave fights in highmaul. Rogues are still in a good place as they bring solid damage, and great utility. Cloak and feint can greatly reduce damage, while sprint and shadowstep make moving irrelevant.

What led you to our guild and what would you like to accomplish with us?:

I'm looking to kill bosses, clear heroic, and get into mythic and hopefully clear that too!

Which addons do you consider essential and why?:

DBM, for tracking boss cds and abilities. Need to know for managing my cd times and personal buffs and debuffs. Overall, I prefer to keep things simple and uncluttered so I can see and react to whats going on in the raid.

What do you like in particular about the UI you are currently using?:

My key information is all close to the bottom of my character, my need to know, health frames, and procs so that essential info is all in one place.

Raid Experience:

3/7 N Highmaul. Raided heroics in past expansions

Describe Your Playstyle:

I'll describe assas rogue, which is pretty simple now that slice and dice is passive. Mutilate up to 5 CP'S, rupture, cast vendetta and shadow reflection, mutilate to 5 CP'S, dispatch on proc or below 35 percent health. Pool energy before using evenom. Don't clip an envenom buff if possible. Rinse and repeat till boss dead.

What specializations do you have experience with?:

Assas and combat I can play ideally, sub, I'm still not 100 percent comfortable with, but I have played it some. I can do the fights fine on a dummy, but things get a bit messy in a raid setting.

What are your most and least favorite boss encounters?:

My favorite fight in highmaul so far is tectus, just because that shit gets hectic when you have 5 bosses up. For me, the fun is more in being with the group and finishing challenging content that is enjoyable.

Thanks for apping to the guild! We actually need more rogues around here! Maybe we can get Taliv or someone in here to ask some rogue questions as I know nothing. Good luck with your app and really one of the biggest things is your personality. We're a pretty close group of guildies and a great attitude means everything. Thanks again!
