Just did a random with Meowia and Katzeus.  Both seem to be very nice
people.  Meowia had went off spec and tanked the instance so I was not able to see how she did in her main spec.  But was good tank, held agro good and pulled fast, i like :).  All in all was just heroic, now that they transfered over maybe get them in some action! :D. They also joined DFrecruit once they transfered over, it was the only way i knew they had transfered over.

I was looking over your application, primarily your views and your gearing / speccing / glyphing.

First off going over your views, moonkins can't effectively dps without the insect swarm glyph, and we lose a lot of dps by actually needing to maintain it the entire time. You want high dot uptime, of course, but without the glyph maintaining it becomes a siginificant dps loss.

Checking out your spec and glyphs. Here at Downfall we want you to do the maximum you can, and in some scenarios, we're willing to let you drop some maximum personal dps or hps for some significant raid utility. (Ex: Divine Sac for paladins, Typhoon for Druids, etc.) However you picked up Typhoon, without picking up Treants. Treants is a strong dps ability, for 1 talent point, it's alot of damage. You also picked up mana talents that, as a moonkin of your gear, you shouldn't even be close to needing. (Not to mention, you're getting the wrong ones.)

I opted out of picking certain talents a while ago, for specific raid utility and function, but as a raw dps fill in, we want you to do the most damage. You could gain 5-10 dps if you moved the moonglow talent for genesis, but honestly, for the off chance you needed the cheaper abilities that's worth more.

Talents and Glyphs aside, let's move on to your gear! 2 piece t10 and 2 piece t9, not too bad. I'm assuming you got the idol before your other tier pieces because you felt the need to replace them both at once, or you idol was weaker perhaps. Your gears not too bad, you could use a new trinket and a new ring.

There are some ways to up your dps though in that department via regemming and reenchanting. Even if it's only 5 spell power, any yellow socket it's worth getting 12 sp 10 crit. I'm assuming that you know this, and opted to do the pure sp for your resto set? Regem your Belt / Hands / Neck / Off-Hand with 10 crit 12 sp and you'll gain a little bit of dps. Reenchanting your chest with 10 stat's will also increase your dps, not to mention over a period of time, yield more mana than the straight 250 mana enchant.

No huge or glaring issues, would love to see what type of single target dps you could perfom on the heroic training dummy. If you have any method of recording your damage such as Skada or Recount, you can go to Ironforge and hug the wall so you can single target Dps the ?? training dummy without splashing any damage onto the smaller ones. (The cleave from Starfall tends to skew the meter if you don't do it this way.) Do 4 3 minute sessions with 2 starfalls and 1 treants and see what your average #'s come out to. (I know it can be extremely random, not getting an Eclipse proc for over a minute is detremental to your dps, but it happens in raid and out of raid, so it has to be counted in!)

Other than her chest enchant, a couple mana regen talent choices, and the lack of treants, there was no real glaring issues that needed to be fixed. Fixes those and posts some 5-6k single target dps meters and she should be a viable option :O.

Hello sir or madam, and welcome to the Downfall recruitment process. If you fancy a quick invite, have thin skin, or like purps over people then don't waste your time reading what follows, just press on now.  If you are a skilled player, or even a player in need of a little molding, and you have time to dedicate to dead bosses, and to a community of people that do more together then play a video game, then here's a few things for you.

Recruitment Process

Step 1 Application : Well you've already completed this step by taking the time to complete our lengthy application.  Some think it's silly, we have documented proof that it easily weeds out the douchebags before wasting too much of our time.

Step 2 Who are you? : Type /join dfrecruit in game.  This will put you in our global chat channel for recruits.  You'll find lots of Downfall members in that channel often shouting for people for random heroics.  This will get your name out there, let people get to know you.  The more people you get to know, the more people will begin to comment on your application, and thus keep it "alive"

Until you start to get comments from those who excel in your class, or those who have nice/not so nice things to say about you as they get to know you, it's up to YOU to keep your application active, it's not just a matter of posting and never coming back, we are a website oriented guild, get used to using it.

Step 3 Be There : Be online during raid times, its even better if you're on from start to finish, since people will DC mid raid.  If you're apping to raid, it's a long and grueling process.  We DO need consistant skilled players for both 25 man raids, and you're not the only person trying to get that spot.  What we like to see is our apps posting on the raid events that they are available to fill in on a given night.  Then if you've posted that you're going to be on that night, make sure to shout our a reminder in dfrecruit just as raid is about to start just to let us know you're on. It may be weeks, it may be months before you see action, but you may end up with a spot the first time you join the recruit channel.

Well that's what you can expect for the next few weeks/months.  We've had applicants that have waited over 3 months for an invite, we've invited people within a few days, every situation is different. So get you're name out there, get some comments, and good luck to you!
