When you hit 90 your PVE gear priorities are to get your spirit to 9k unbuffed, and then focus mastery hardcore after that.
While you're still in the old LFRs it can be nice to get your haste to 3506 for an extra tick of Eternal Flame (PVE prefered level 45 talent) but for the new raid Throne Of Thunder, the EF breakpoint is mostly wasted (because rather than pulses of damage on the whole raid at predictable times it's more spikes on specific people at semi-predictable times) so going full mastery/spirit is much stronger

Last but not least addons for raid DeadlyBossMods are always required for raid with us. Also finiding a set of raid frames you like using such as Grid2 or Perfectraid is very important so that you can properly see peoples health (without turning your screen into a clusterfuck or healthbars) and most importantly see debuffs that need to be cleansed off quickly.

He hasn't raided in forever, he's only 89 so far, near no glyphs, is a PvPer (which means I know jack squat about proper pvp holy pally style) and needs enchants (but it's all leveling gear so who's going to enchant that) also needs to level his BS.
Mining is a good leveling choice but unless your tanking (and I think even then) for pallies it's a shit choice. But it's good for leveling and leveling your BS to 600 and then changing to something like Engineering or JC, or Alchemy.
But it's always nice to see another holy pally, and if he's at least half as good as villidan he's worth his weight in gold
