For healing experience, it has only been in battlegrounds, most of the time in pre-mades like proudfather airlines and now its called jag airlines. I believe healing in B/G's is a bit more challenging than healing in raids. For example, I was always the number#1 target in taken damage and was still able to heal others while remaining top healer. Healing in B/Gs really made me a great healer for the fact that I can heal myself and others when its a 40man battleground can be a true challenge. I tried a few raiding healing in ICC, but my healing gear was under 5k gear score, however, I was told by many that I was out healing other healers who had over 6k healing. i still believe healing in B/Gs really can make you a good healer, but by the time I wanted to focus more on raid heals the expansion was around the corner. As far has healing in Cata, its really tough to say. I notice almost all healers are drained in mana on every trash mobs. Blizz really made it hard for healers to conserve mana. But, I am always willing to help the team if they do need another healer. I can definitely see myself healing in rated BG's. Always enjoy BG's healing. To have hordes focus on me the whole BG's and than realize they can't kill me is always a smile in my face.
