Raid Experience:

A few WotLK pugs aside, my raiding experience began with BWD, and I had mastered my class by T13. Balnazzar died as a server during Firelands, resulting in long lulls of inactivity interspersed with rapid success. My experience with raiding content while it was current amounts to this, all 10-man:
*Weekly T12 runs in a scrubby guild with little success.
*Weekly T13 runs in that same guild, but with modest progression. We disbanded after our first Rag kill on normal difficulty.
*Weekly T14 runs with the remnants of a number of disbanded guilds, resulting in consistent full clears of DS on Normal difficulty and some Heroic progression. This guild broke up a few months into the patch due to further server transfers.
*Monthly T14 runs following further guild mergers--We owned DS, clearing our way to Heroic Spine in only four or five nights of attempts. We were only about three seconds shy of bursting down the last plate of Spine after a dozen attempts at most, but server transfers forced another hiatus.
*T15 runs for seven weeks--the dozen or so remaining raiders pulled together from across four different guilds to fully clear MV normal in seven nights, and then the group fell apart.

Thanks for all the input. I'll definitely switch to Blink Strike right away. Armory is a bit silly with expertise. It fails to account for dwarf
racial Crack Shot. (In case I, you know, decide to raid with a
polearm.) My expertise is actually at 7.54%. I do use ReforeLite, and I
opted to go slightly under on Hit because the second best option would
have wasted something like 50 points I could spend towards another
stat. My miss chance shows 0.05%, so I think it's a safe bet. I could do some math on it for confirmation, but I'll have upgrades before I have a chance to raid, so it will be a moot point until the situation arises with better gear.

As for bypassing socket bonuses that don't award agility and stacking all reds, I thought Blizzard had buffed bonuses a bit to avoid that. On my shoulders for instance, I would be trading +120 Haste and +160 Crit for +80 Agility. I certainly don't mind stacking reds from here on out, but it does surprise me.

I haven't pvped since Cataclysm. I was burnt out for a while after grinding Battlemaster and the 100,000 HK achievement. While I like the thought of doing RBGs again, I currently have zero resilience gear.

i think Blink Strike over lynx rush for surv in my opinion. Hit and expertise should be at 7.5 each. your only a smidge under on hit but about 1% under on expertise. A little reforging will fix this right up. I suggust a mod called ReforgeLite. It will put em spot on for you. In your boots I would go a straight agi red gem, The mastery bonus isnt worth chasing. Besides that a lil raid finder to gear up a bit more and you'll be ready to go raid wise.

Download a program called Mumble. we use that for voice chat. We'll get yah in Mumble sometime soon to meet some of the guys.

Honestly, unless the socket bonus is pure AGI you should just jam reds in there. It is never worth giving up a raw AGI gem just to pick up a +mastery or +haste or whatever the crap. Our secondary stats don't scale well enough to justify it.

Lynx Rush hasn't been a viable talent for a couple patches now. Blink Strike has hugely inflated value in SoO due to how many of the fights involve regular target switching. It also scales well enough with Haste to easily trump Lynx.

I do enjoy the fact that you RBG though. I'm always interested in more folks to run RBGs with.

A note on my UI: I only use DBM and Recount. Shift+1 through Shift+6 and F1-F4 are all asigned to minimize clicking. (F1 and F2 are Dragonhawk and Cheetah.)
